This SSD is fantastic! When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the size, and the look and feel of it. I knew right away this was going to be a fantastic device. It comes with a handy carrying bag, with a partition to hold the USB-C cable so the drive does not get scratched or marred in any way. While this isn’t necessary, it was a nice touch that I appreciate.Build Quality:The drive has a very solid feel, and does not feel cheap. The bottom of the unit appears to be aluminum, and the top, glass or high quality plastic. The top does have a glass finish, which isn’t my favorite, but still looks nice overall. With such a solid build, it also doesn’t feel heavy, but also doesn’t feel fragile.Performance:I was most impressed with the performance of this drive. I wasn’t really expecting much, and would be happy with moderate performance considering it’s compact form factor and brand. However, this thing is fast! The attached screenshot will show, that while it didn’t hit the maximum of 540Mbps, it came pleasantly close. I even compared it to a Seagate SSD, and it outperformed that by a slim margin.Issues/Gripes:I was not thrilled to see it had a promotional partition that cannot be removed. Upon plugging the device into my computer, 2 drives were mounted: the main SSD drive, and a promotional “CD-ROM” image titled “RavepowerTool”. This partition includes the user manual and the encryption software. I did not attempt to use this software, and opted to use my OS’s native encryption method. I wish I was able to remove or prevent this partition from mounting easily, but it’s not a deal breaker, just slightly bothersome.Overall:I am very happy with this SSD drive. It is fast, compact, and a great price! I’m planning on using this drive as both an automatic backup drive, and for storing large files between my work and home machines. I would highly recommend this drive.

This is perfect! I use this external NVME to run portable apps and store my media. The read write speeds are fast on USB-C and on USB-3. The design for this is really sleek as well. No issues and no complaints. Exactly what I was hoping for.

I was looking for a solid state drive to use for backup of my laptop and was surprised to find such a small one with large capacity at a good price. I made sure it stated it was compatible with Apple laptops so I could use it with my macbook pro. It plugs in via USB or C. Once I put it in the port, I was able to use the installer to set it up. Now I can easily backup my macbook pro and not worry about losing the data since it is a solid state drive.

With the hard drive on our computer near capacity, I wanted a drive to provide a little extra space for archiving files. This drive is exactly what I needed. It is super compact and I can easily store it at my desk for quick access. Being solid state, the transfer rates are super quick. It was easy to set up. I really like that it comes with a storage pouch to keep it together with the cables. Very portable and great for porting files to and from work as well.

When I received this SSD, I was surprised by how small it truly is. It works great on my MacBook for quickly transferring and storing files. It also works great on my Xbox for storing games and helps decrease loading times compared to loading from the internal hard drive. This is definitely a useful product to have available for whenever you might need some extra storage.

Very slim, so you can easily store it or bring it with you to the office or whatever your needs are. Comes with a little storage pouch so you can store the cables with it. Easy to use which was another huge plus for me!

My son uses a Mac for his business. This comes in handy for him with 256gb. Easy to use and set up, pretty much a plug and play operation. Small enough to travel with from home to work to wherever
