I am neurodiverse & I wanted to try these. So glad I did! They felt tight at first so I repositioned them & they felt very comfortable. I was also essay writing at the time & these had an added effect as it helped me to focus, without the distraction of surrounding noise. These headphones soften the noise. This is the first pair of ear defenders i've ever worn but are what exaclty what I had hoped for. They've dulled the sound of a dremel engraver sufficiently enough so it is now tolerable to use. they block out sound well in general as well. very comfortable, feels like wearing some tight fitting headphones. also folds up surprisingly compactly. happy with this product, would recommend

Really good ear defenders I use them for work when operating machinery. Just one downside is that they pop apart some times it's easy to put them back together but shouldn't need to

Perfect, for people who are neurodivergent

Good value for money, good sound protection, do the job well.

They do reduce noise but they create a pressure around your ear so I found them not very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. My ears would become sweaty and then I'd start to get a headache. The design is a bit bulky. The colour is good. The ease of use is questionable. I recently found silicone earplugs that block out more noise and are comfortable to wear even for side sleepers. I'd recommend these only for short jobs in the garden/ construction - like mowing the lawn or something like that or if you are taking a noise sensitive person to a noisy environment.

These are just great for very loud or irritating noises. You can still hear ordinary speech, but it really takes the edge off the worst bits of sound from squeals or raised voices, so that you loose the discomfort. Physically comfortable too.

It drowns out most of the noise, but not so much that you can't hear PA announcements. Good fit, too.

Have only had them a week and used them twice while strimming the garden. The fit is very snug and the muff cover the ears completely, thus cancelling out those harmful higher dBs. For fun, I tested against some bassier sounds on my music system and these were really impressive at muffling at those lower ends too. They are also approved for use for people with autism, which is also very cool given they are not at all expensive and very effective. Not sure if they come in size varients, but this model would not suit folks with larger hat sizes.
