Do I need any other hardware?** A: If the bed already has a lift cylinder you should measure the old one and check the lifting capacity of the old shock. It should be written on the side of the cylinder. If the bed does not have a lift cylinder already installed, you will need to add and install the ball mounting brackets on each end of the cylinder. Will take a little math work to determine bracket placement, but not a complicated job.
