This fits an X3 perfectly and it is well made. Before ordering look at a Youtube video on what it entails in changing the filter. You need to be an acrobat plus have T20 Torx bits, both long and very short.

My old air filter made my car smell so bad, I did a quick 5-10 minute air filter change and it fixed the problem, turned my car on with my AC and instantly felt a difference in the quality of air. Smelled better and felt cleaner and more pure. When I took out the old air filter, bugs and leaves fell down. So you can tell how old my last one was 😓😓

Fits perfect for a G82 M4. Easy install, just do some research prior. You’ll only need a flat head, to remove the panel, then T20 torx to remove the lid to access the cabin filter. Had a weird smell when the AC turns on and decided to change out the cabin filter. Once changed, the smell was gone! These filters are super expensive from BMW, so you’ll definitely save!

It is a genuine bmw part but I mine did come in a box that was pretty beaten up. And not in a sealed bag which is odd for a carbon filter. For $60 at the time of my purchase I’d expect it to be cared for better.

I tried to buy this at the dealership and they wanted over $100 for it. So I bought this one and it came in the same box as all the other parts in their parts department for 40% less. It is a very nice filter with a hard rubber frame, not the usual plastic and it is very thick and impregnated with charcoal just like the one I replaced, it was identical. The dealership wanted over $300 to install it, but it only took me 20 minutes.
