Yum
Both great salt snack. Good value for the money and lots of packets and they last forever before running out to buy more. Huge bags of mini packets.

Sour nostalgia
These were a popular school yard treat when I was a kid, and tasting them now brought me back. Pica limon is slightly spicy, kinda sour, yet a little sweet. Limon 7 is a lime salt, and tastes like you’d expect from that. Both are a nice little flavor treat on their own, or they can be used on food.

Great taste and price
These take me way back. As a kid, I used to go down the corner store and buy these for a nickel a piece. Now I rarely buy them because they are so expensive at the store, but when I seen I could get them here for a great price, I had to purchase them. I take them when I travel out of town as a snack. I recommend them 100%.

PLEASE READ if you’re new
These are not candy, they are not a lollipop, they are little bags of flavored salt. A lot of Hispanic children used to get these from the ice cream, man or the liquor store as children, and we would eat them. We also used to eat little packets of chili. It’s kind of what you do when you grow up with not a lot of money for sweets. This is why they are marketed as a snack. The green packages are lemon, flavored salt. They are perfect for putting on your margarita glass, if you make homemade potato chips or corn chips, an OCCASIONAL snack, putting on your popcorn, and flavoring foods. The yellow ones are a chili salt. These two are great for chips, popcorn, food, flavoring, and also good for the occasional snack. I don’t remember these tasting this much like plastic when I was a child, which is why I gave it three stars. I think they are supposed to be little peppers I hope? However, it taste like little bits of plastic in the package and I did not appreciate that at all. The yellow package usually don’t taste like that. I hope this review helps you to purchase wisely. I think these are getting a bad wrap because people think they are something that they are not but it’s really a cultural thing which is why it’s called “candy” or a snack. Honestly, these are a decent value for the price when you consider they used to charge us a nickel for one or two. Unfortunately, something needs to be done about those yellow packets tasting like they have pieces of plastic in them. Peppers or not it’s not a good taste.

Great
I have been eating the original since I was a kid, loved it then, love it now. The hot powder is also good and they are even better together. I like to open then and sprinkle them on tortilla chips or popcorn.

Mix it with melted butter and put it on popcorn!
I bought this without really paying attention and thinking it was candy. I put it in my kid’s Easter eggs...thankfully my children are all adults! After the Easter egg hunt, my son asked me why I put those flavored packs of salt in their eggs...oops! We thought we’d make the best of it and figure out a use for them. My other son decided to try it on popcorn. It was delicious but it made us cough uncontrollably as it tickled our noses and throats in a way we’ve never felt before. But it tasted so good! I tried it on popcorn again, but this time, I mixed it with melted butter and it was awesome!

Excellent addition to soups and as a seasoning on chicken.
I use this product several times a week to add a salty lemon/lime flavor to soup and to chicken. Handy little single use pouches keep the powder fresh.
