Good product just didn't work for my needs.

If you are in the same boat as me and sick and tired of the lack of a replacement gasket for your Stanley 1qt thermos then look no further! I was forced to buy a new cap last time to get the factory 'brown' gasket after my last one wore out after many years of use. Since then I have searched continually but nothing worked decently enough...until now. These clear silicone gaskets fit and are slightly different than the factory one, but they do seal just like the original. You get 10 so they should last for years. I have been using them for over a week now every day with no problems. Update: May 28, 2021: Been using the same gasket for 2 months straight 5 days a week without fail. I re-affirm my statement above that these gaskets WORK. You can turn them either way to form a seal, but I personally I turn the cup end upwards to resemble the original seal. If you turn it outward it will still compress to form a watertight vacuum seal. Once you have them in hand you will understand what I mean. Final update: October 23, 2021: Same gasket still going strong. No issues. I think it is more than fair to say at this point they work perfectly. I have had several co-workers order these because they needed replacements but could never find them. Coffee stains the gasket over time, so I may have been wrong about that 'factory' color, but I just cannot remember what the original looked like. No matter. Discoloration does not affect the use.

I couldn't find any replacement gaskets fory Stanley thermos until I found these. Take out your old gasket, put one of these on, preheat your thermos with your boiling water and pour some on the gasket while it's on the lid and it's good you go.

I have several Stanley vacuum bottles, from 16oz to 1.5 qt, that all have the same stopper. This listing is so confusing, and the reviews are no help. The 1.8 does not fit the style I have, and it’s a different shaped part altogether. And I’m not paying $5to send these back for a $5 refund, while eating both shipping charges. Why don’t you just sell a split pack with 5 of each, so we get one that works, without having to guess.. nobody needs 10 of these. Or better yet, just show the 1.5 on the intended stopper, and do the same with the 1.8, so we know what we are buying. IT’S TRULY FRUSTRATING TO THROW MONEY AWAY.

Yes, these are the ones that fit your tall slender "industry guy" green Stanley Thermos. I put one on mine and have a 100% dry seal. You can't meet expectations any better than that. 5 stars.
