Great product, good price

Great Quality for the Price
For this price I was not expecting much, but it was definitely worth it. I use it in an approximately 60x80ft cafetorium for theatre. I teach middle schoolers and they are hard on equipment. I just ordered 4 more after using one for a production. I have a nice quality board that can filter out any buzz so i'm not as worried about getting expensive mics. If you need affordable mics and don't want to worry that expensive shures are gonna get ruined, 100% get these.

decent sound for the money. Pretty fragile (if you work with young actors), but the price makes that less of an issue than more expensive headsets

It works with the body pack from the Phenyx Pro PTU-5200A / 5200B.
I checked to see if my Phenyx Pro system had powered mics and they did. Since they were black cords with a rather bulky looking mouth mike I decided I wanted to try this smaller one that is more flesh colored making it disappear from sight from a pretty close distance. Well it works just fine! The value is there, the sound quality is there, the quality of the mike seems to be all I need so I can't complain. So if you happen to own a Phenyx Pro PTU-5200A/5200B, feel confident to purchase one. The price is about 1/10th of what a Sure micro mike costs and not all the time do you pay more for something that is better.

Great for the price
I really like this mic for the price. I have bought several of them over the years. I usually bend them to fit in and around my ear but you have to work very slowly and don't make sharp bends. Be careful not to drop the pack with the mic on your ear as that will pull the wire and there is no repairing the wire where it connects to the mic. That has been our number one problem. A removable wire would make this mic perfect! We do eq the heck out of the mic but it sounds just as good as our more expensive mics once we do.
