I definitely recommend it, and recommend a case in general. The new iPhone 6 as you know is bigger and the hand feel is different. Sounds obvious right? But the fact is you will drop it. The normal hand movements I used with my iPhone 5 were so common they become muscle memory. And in my case, until you retrain your self to hold and use the bigger phone, you will fumble it and may drop it like I did. Here is what I like about the case. -It has two parts. Metal bumper, BTW, it’s great quality, and TPU case. So it provides two layers of protection, your phone is very well protected. - looks great which was the primary reason I bought it. The clear TPU and gold aluminum band really look sharp with the white face of my phone. First class look! - The aluminum have a great feel. It feels just like the iphone itself- The fit is very precise. The TPU case fits perfectly on the phone, and the aluminum band is amazingly precise It’s easy to put it on, simply put the TPU case first, then starting from the back, gently install the metal bumper. I had no problem installing it, I am sure others will find the same. - No interference with phone antennas. Some people may speculate that the aluminum band reduces reception. I can tell you that's not true. I have very clear limits to cell reception in my house. I know exactly where the ATT single cuts out. I also know exactly where the wifi drops in the back yard. I tested the new iPhone 6 without the case, and verified where the cell and wifi drop out. The cell cuts out in the same place, but the new iPhone holds the wifi much better. Two broken cases without even dropping phone :( *by J***P on July 11, 2016* First, I love the look of this cover. However, after buying 2 of them and having them break so soon, I would not purchase another. The metal outer case is so extremely thin at the openings for headphones and charger that if you take the cover off your phone more then once or twice, the metal becomes very weak and snaps. You should be able to remove a case without it losing its function entirely.
