Can you tell me the typical run times for 1s and 2s image capturing in natural daylight and in the dark?

Hiya, I'm not quite sure I understand your question? Yes, you can set the camera to shoot intervals of either 1 or 2 seconds, but the run time of the final video is completely dependant on the length of your filming project. If you are asking how long the 4AA batteries will last when filming a 1 frame / second time lapse, then maybe about 4/5 days?  Possibly longer if you use Lithium batteries? It's difficult to say as there are so many variables!  Please feel free to ask me again if I haven't answered the question?

Hi, for a project lasting around 4 months, how do you suggest setting up the camera? If needed to change the batteries/card, how would you do it?

Hiya, this can vary greatly depending on your shoot settings . If you had the camera running 10 hrs / day (8am-6pm) , and a picture taken at an interval every 10 mins, the camera would last you around ~60 days before having to change the batteries. If you used lithium batteries this would easily be over 80 days. The camera comes with a 16 GB SD card which is more than enough to cover your entire 4 month project at 10min intervals, so you would not have to remove the SD card. If you do need to move the camera to change the batteries, or you want to check the SD card,  you can always use the image alignment tool that comes on the App to make sure you still have your subject lined up. There are instructional videos and help online about how to do this.

No, it doesn't come with a tripod, but you can easily buy a one on Amazon. It uses a 1/4" UNC mounting thread that is industry standard for CCTV, GoPros and digital cameras. Hope that helps.
