So, I have these light bulb protective covers on the lights in my home gym! They are effective if an errant medicine ball or worse gets chucked their way. They look really cool, or at least I think that they do! Solid buy!

Needed protective covers for closet lights to pass inspection. There light cages work well at lower cost. They are sturdy, very well made and look good. They fit the porcelain light bases very well.

Our ceiling fan had some really hideous glass globes over the lights and I wanted something that looked nicer and blended in with the colors of the fan and showed off "vintage" style bulbs. These clamp right on the bulb holder and they blend with the fixture. They're a bit expensive for what they are, a wire cage with some screws, but overall I'm pleased. Very simple to install and they look so much nicer than the old glass globes.

With changes in the 2021building code requirements changes, old fashioned simple ceiling pull chain sockets for bare bulbs are not compliant. A shade or wire cage need to be installed to prevent direct contact with objects high up on shelves. I don't like the look cheap plastic bulb cages one bit. I highly recommend this pretty cage. Maybe it's too pretty to be hidden in a reach-in 1960 closet. Lol

The value of money and the quality is unbeatable. The size and fit is amazing and it was super easy to assemble. We love the way it looks!

I used these to replace the outdated light globes/shades in my fan light. Gave it the industrial vibe I was going for. They were a little too wide at the base, but I was able to use pliers to modify them slightly to fit. A little bright since they are a cage, but I overall love the new look.

Great product, Metal construction not plastic, easy to install

These are beautiful and sturdy. I was so excited when I saw these were installed on ceiling fans to provide a little revamping. Which is why I ordered. Sadly, these did not fit on ANY of my ceiling fan lights when I removed the bulb shade. The awkward placing of the screws on this cover are just too wide and protrude beyond the housing. Even tightening/ loosening didn’t help. Removing the screws to maybe place the shade over the housing didn’t work either. There is very very little give with both screws removed. I wish I had a direct way to reach out to those that were able to install these on their ceiling fans that left reviews. But sadly, I must return. Beautiful fixtures, just need to be more universal.

I got this for a retro-industrial lamp project, this helped with achieving the right look. While this is not a complex part, fit and finish were more than satisfactory, I would buy another if I had a similar project in mind.

J'ai acheté ces abat-jour pour rafraîchir un luminaire dans ma salle de bain. Je trouve le rendu vraiment très bien, facile à installer, seulement les cages métalliques sont un peu grosses mais ça fait parfaitement avec le décor industriel que je suis en train de créer. Je recommande vraiment le produit!
