Does this have the newer JoWo all silver nib? Or the older silver and gold nib?

I bought mine last summer, and it does have the silver and gold nib... but that might not be the case NOW. Sorry I couldn't give you a more uptodate answer...

I have heard that conklin change the type of nib used in this pen. does this have a jowo nib?

Conklin started using JoWo nibs a couple of years ago, so unless this pen has been sitting on a shelf somewhere for a few years now, I would assume that it has the new nib. However, I bought my pen about 5 years ago and it was using the old nib which I never have experienced any problems with. Either way it's a lovely pen and I don't see it being a problem.

Far as I know. Yes, I’m using Kaweco cartridges and it will take Mont Blanc and Waterman, as well.

Yes it is a screw cap over the nib and it posts by friction over the back. It is plastic so no need to be a gorilla, it might get stuck or worse.
