I'm a big fan of mint, and I mainly bought this Extra Gum Smooth Mint to help curb late-night snacking and sugar cravings. I've also been using it to freshen my breath after meals and before important meetings. I love this gum! It's soft yet chewy, not too hard to chew through, and very tasty. Honestly, I'm not usually much of a gum chewer, but this one really works for me — I even feel like I’ve gained a bit of muscle from all the chewing! I’ve been sharing it with my mother too. I absolutely love this specific flavored gum- smooth mint. I have bought every kind of flavors gum EXTRA has to offer and this is by far the best! It’s fresh tasting, not too minty. I use to be able to buy this pack in smart and final but I can’t find it any where anymore except Amazon. It’s a good value for my money because I enjoy this particular gum a lot.

Solid product. However, if you have GERD, my symptoms increase randomly and in severity while chewing it. But overall, it's a good flavor and lasts a decent amount.

Especially when you live in the United Kingdom, the fact that it’s in stick form makes it easy to chew for people with no teeth, unlike the Extra you get in the UK, which only comes as pellets. Smooth Mint? It’s an amazing flavour. It mixes peppermint and spearmint without the harshness you normally get from those two flavours. Because the American version is made with different ingredients, one stick can last you a couple of hours with no loss of flavour. It’s sugar‑free, which is ideal for anyone worried about their sugar intake. Value for money? I suppose it depends how you look at it. The one I got has a BB date of 09/07/2026, and as of today (18/07/2026) it’s still perfectly fine. Because it’s imported, you would expect to pay a fair amount for it anyway. As I say, it depends on how you look at it — for me, it’s a price worth paying, but the price you want to pay is entirely up to you. You can get a very similar flavour in Trident chewing gum, also in stick form and also from America, for about £21. It depends when you buy it, because it can be as little as £17 for a whole box on Amazon. The flavour name for this one is Trident Minty Sweet Twist Sugar Free Chewing Gum with Xylitol. This particular version of Wrigley’s Extra from America seems very hard to find on Amazon or anywhere online for the UK market. So again, the price is worth it for me, but for anyone who wants something cheaper yet still good quality and virtually the same flavour, you’ll want to go for Trident Minty Sweet Twist.
