Hosa CMP-153 Stereo Breakout, 3.5 mm TRS to Dual 1/4 Inch TS, 3 Feet

This cable works fine. All three plugs fit properly and are secure. The wires are good quality (not great, but good) and the sound quality is fine. I wouldn't use this in a recording studio but for my work on the road, it does the job.

I use this adapter to send audio signal from a laptop's 1/8 audio out jack to a Digidesign recording unit's 1/4 inputs. It does an excellent job of splitting the signal to left and right (these are labeled by the way and color-coded). This allows me to send any sound, MP3, or CD music directly to ProTools from the laptop. Setup a stereo Aux track in ProTools, and it is simply smashing. However, you could also use this to connect an MP3 player or laptop to a host of other devices such as PAs, mixing consoles, and so on, as long as the device has two 1/4 inputs. I was a little concerned with the 10 ft length (they make a shorter one also), but it performs perfectly. In fact, I am actually splitting the signal from the laptop with a stereo 1/8" splitter (Hosa of course, see Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000068O5G/ref=oss_product): one stereo signal goes to the receiver in my stereo system, the other to the recording unit. There is no signal loss, no interference (aside from the silly AC connection on the laptop which I remedied by adding a docking station), and the sound quality is excellent. Once again I am extremely happy with the quality, durability, price, and performance of yet another Hosa adapter.

I have been using Hosa cables for a number of years now and the quality always seems great. Have yet to have any of them fail. Cables are nice and flexible. Plugs are good and solid, no wiggle. Prices are usually pretty fair, too. Can't complain!

I sample audio from anything with a 3.5mm jack, including my phone. Unfortunately sampling from my phone I get a high pitched whine, but from my computer I get decent enough audio that I can use it for a track. Make sure there aren't and wires touching it as they will cause interference

This product provides a transition from a 1/8 inch stereo plug to two 1/4 inch mono plugs. This was exactly what I needed to connect a Yamaha FGDP-30 to two channels of a Tascam DP008EX digital recorder. Works perfectly, and the materials and build quality seems very satisfactory. Sweetwater has a similar cable for 3 times the price. The price for this is more reasonable.

Excellent quality heavy duty cable that does what its suppose to problem free, cant ask for more than that, whats nice about this HOSA cable compared to others like it is that it uses 2 heavy gauge wires that run straight from the 1/8th inch plug all the way back to the 1/4 inch plugs making this cable especially suited for recording or running your gear into a mixer or comparable, if I had a choice to pick this over some of the fancier ones, I would probably pick this, mainly because it's obvious that HOSA does not skimp on materials in favor of price, the only downfall to alot of their products is the less than sleek appearance, this cable is heavy duty,well built,sounds great, but looks like it fell out of the 70's other than that its a great buy.

I connected my Roland Ju-06A to my interface and the sound quality is the best you can get really recommend

When you need a quality connection these cost a little more but have better build qualities than in crappy imports. May I suggest you pay more and buy once rather than learn that using crap you pay twice.

Honestly well made cables as to be expected from Hosa and the fact it's one of the cheapest on here was a no brainer to get this.
