RAZORS Shark Long life Safety Razor SH.25

Made in Egypt by Lord. This is not another Chinese razor. That was partly why I chose this one. As I'd heard, this razor is aggressive, much more so than my vintage 1959 Gillette Tech that I've been using, needing to shim it to get a more aggressive and efficient shave. The Shark razor needs no shims. This was another reason I wanted it. A less aggressive razor requires more passes, which irritates my skin more. I like to shave in two passes and start aggressive and finish mild. This razor helps me do that. I haven't tried another aggressive razor to compare it with. Importantly, the loaded blade has no visible rippling that would produce an uncomfortable shave. If there is discomfort, this might be due to the blade, the technique, or one's particular skin. I can't vouch for the quality control as I've only purchased one of these razors, but mine fully met my expectations. I can update with any issues that arise. I'm not impressed with the plastic handle, but I didn't expect much from it and it can be replaced. I used the handle from my Gillette Tech, and it worked great. I bought this for the head. If you're getting into safety razor shaving, buy a pricier more mild one with a solid handle and this one to use with that handle for your first pass.

Great value for a daily shaver or a travel razor. Light razor as the hollow handle is made from plastic. I found the razor to be efficient in handling my one-day beard growth. I am confident had I gone 2 days without shaving, the result would be good as well. The supplied Shark blade did a good job and felt comfortable on my face. The handle provided adequate control and only slipped when my fingers had shaving soap on them. The blade alignment and reveal were very close to being perfect, with only the slightest "tweak" needed. Overall, quite a good shave and excellent value.

The day before yesterday I took a chunk of lip off my face with that razor. The blade is not at the right angle and there is too big of a gap between the blade and the seat. Almost every time I used that razor I bleed. I found my old razor that I misplaced during a move, and promptly threw away the Shark razor. I have used Shark blades for 10 years. They are great. I will never buy the actual razor from them again though.

Owned for a few months and travelled internationally with it and it’s held up well so far, which is all I expect from a cheap handle. Blades work great and it’s easy to disassemble

Very decent inexpensive travel razor. From what I understand, the head geometry and handle length match the Merkur 23C, which is about 3-4 times as much. This makes the Shark a better choice for travel.

Perfect angle and blade gap- two passes are enough for a BBS shave.

This is a fantastic razor. The handle is plastic. I have a "Parker 94" handle on it. This is my favorite razor as it is fairly aggressive. Shark platinum blades are great. Love this combo! Way to go Lord company of Egypt!

A good deal. It is pretty well-made, well-priced and arrived quickly. The handle is plastic but the rest of it is stainless steel. As a shaving razor it works fine. On the topic of shaving razors, the safety razor is like a safe straight razor. The first time I used a straight razor, I cut myself a lot. With the safety razor, it shaves like a straight razor but with little cutting if any. Compared to disposable razors and a straight razor, it looks like the safety razor is the best option to use. It shaves safer than a straight razor and you can keep reusing it unlike the disposable razors.

Es un buen producto pero no sé lo recomiendo a personas que se inicien en el afeitado clásico ya que con que falles un poco en el andulo te ocasionará una buena cortada pero si tienes experiencia cumplirá su función sin que te lastimes
