Beautiful!
These are some beautiful tools. The fit and finished is exquisite. Heavy solid steel with no vibration or chatter when turning.. The cutter used with each is engraved on the shaft of each tool. They are so pretty I find myself wondering if I should use a padded tool rest, lol. Even the handle is fun to wield. And they eat wood like a hot knife thru butter. It is easy to get a smooth finish on your projects. They are very enjoyable to use. I do not understand why similar tools are so expensive. The handles aren't that hard to make on your own lathe. I almost bought another brand that had handles included on sale at my local wood store. These are so much better made. They even come with instructions on how to best use them. Never seen that on turning tools before.Forget the other brands, buy these and make your own handles. It is rare to find such quality at this price.

length, sturdiness, and quality are great.
Very happy with the quality. The tools are more sturdy than expected. It was a pleasant surprise. I'm new using the carbide tip turning tools, so I can't speak to how well they work compared to others but I assume that has more to do with the tip.

Quality tools, but must be used correctly.
These tools are very good replacements for standard turning tools. The carbide works well and stays sharp. The handle is high quality and balanced. The square rougher and 55* detailer are quality and a joy to use.The round shafted "hollower" with the round and cupped bit is very hard to use without catches. In my opinion this set should have come with the flat round bit with square shaft instead. It would be far more useful and I have ordered it to add to the set. In my opinion Harrison should better explain this in the description. Here's a tip:- Do not use the round hollower as a scraper style cutter. Pushing it straight on will give you the catch of your life. That bit is cupped with a very aggressive edge. Really only good for bowl/cup/goblet hollowing on angle. I have torn up at least 3 projects trying to make that tool work incorrectly. One being a hard maple toy going at 1600rpm. That will wake you up when it tries to take the tool from you and rockets across the shop...

Very disappointed in the strength of the cutting head
After a single use the cutting head broke on the square blade

There was a very short learning curve. I took to the tools like a duck to water.
From a machinist standpoint, this is a quality made product.
