I have two conures, and while they don’t always sleep in these enclosures, they do sleep in them. The quality is very good and they hold up to machine washing and drying (low heat). Before I bought them, I wondered if my birds would do to them what they do to my t-shirts. (I buy a new pack of twelve every year.) They don’t bother them at all. And I think the main reason for that is I only put them in their cage in the evening before covering the cage, and take them out in the morning when I uncover the cage. Anyway, I don’t think they’re expensive and I’m getting more than a year’s use out of them, and feel I’ll get another year or two out of them, if my birds don’t suddenly decide to destroy them.

My Quakers love these Plush Birds Hut Bed Hanging Hammock for sleeping or retreating to if they get scared. They come in a few different colors with the hanging clips so are very easy to install into a cage. The fleece material is soft, tent like appearance, & I think will hold up for quite awhile as long as they don't start chewing the hut. Good value for the money as I don't have to run around to different pet stores to find the huts. These are on the smaller size so Quakers, Conures & smaller birds would fit in this particular size hut.

I was going to use it to line a metal shelf for my bird. However it is just a little too small. The other one thatvcamecwithvthe set was fine because the metal shelf is rectangular. The other shelf is triangle.

Our Sun Conure loved these tent beds. Had one in each of his cages. Could tuck his head inside and let his tail hang out. The tents were soft, sturdy and long lasting. We learned the hard way not to connect these to his cage with carribeaners. Bird tried to swallow one, leading to an emergency vet visit. Velcro was a much less perilous way to go.

Cheaper than the one we bought prior. Foam bottom has zero support. The clips are cheap and a danger for birds. I would not buy these again. Our Quaker noticed them as crap as well and would not try them even after seeing it sank down when he went in it. Perhaps a harder supportive washable bottom.

I have purchased these before, and I've always been happy with them. They are still a good buy, but the quality has definitely gone downhill. The construction is cheaper, and the materials are thinner. The hut fabric is not as plush, and the stitching is weaker. The floor of the hut is a thinner cardboard, too. I was disappointed in the new ones. As I said, it is still worth buying, but who knows what the next batch will be like if the manufacturing slide continues?

Not as sturdy as I thought it would be but fine. My birds don’t look interested in it. Maybe needs longer than 6 months?
