Raf never knew he needed a Daddy until he meets Daddy Brendan... Adulting is hard for Raf. After a less than ideal youth, he’d hoped to find where he belongs. But despite trying several things in the club his best friend frequents, nothing clicks for him. Until he meets Daddy Brendan, the perfect bear of a man with the gentle voice, the soft cuddles, and an appendage Raf is rather fascinated by. Daddy Brendan wants to take care of Raf in every way, and Raf quickly discovers he loves being Daddy Brendan’s baby boy. He’s finally found where he belongs. If only he could forget about his past and be truly happy… Gentle Hand is a daddy care MM romance with age play and ABDL. Please note trigger warnings for mild homophobia, parental mistreatment, and depression. It’s the second book in the Perfect Hands series but can be read as a stand-alone. Review: Sweet Raf and Brendan! - Love the kind of dual timeline of this book the coincides with the first book and looks at things thru another point of view. Of course I bawled like a baby throughout this one as well but I absolutely love this series. There is a such sadness and tragedy but also overwhelming love. Review: lots of hurt/healing - I enjoyed the comfort and healing parts of this book. The spicy scenes were over the top for me, but it’s easy enough to skip them. I found it interesting and well written, but there was a lot of sadness that was hard to read.

Lovely
This was a lovely story. The MCs were fantastic and The plot was sweet and winding. The author clearly either suffers a more severe form of adhd or knows someone who does because i found it to be a fairly accurate description of the symptoms and anxiety that comes with it. Even as he was working through his issues that came with society's views on the Daddy/little dynamic. It was quick and maybe it would seem TOO quick to some but the way the adhd and anxiety work together it actually is one of the more realistic aspects of this story. When your brain goes 14 different directions in 3 seconds some issues can get worked through REAL fast. Trust. Seeing the aftermath of his horrible childhood was heartbreaking. These two were exactly what the other needed and they just FIT so perfectly. Loved this book. Seriously fantastic.

Enjoyed it
Really enjoyed this book. I started on this one instead of book 1. Honestly, I avoid books with age play relationships cause it's just not my thing at all usually. So I wasn't going to read the series at first since it's a daddy/boy relationship. But after reading the description, I decided to check it out anyway. With that said, I had a little trouble with it in the beginning just because I didn't understand the dynamic before. But the more I read, the more it made sense. I got so absorbed in it that I kept having to force myself to pause every once in a while to get a drink. The story, the characters,, and the writing are great and I'll probably end up reading it again eventually.

Not quite as intriguing as the first but still good
I admit that the last book in the series set high standards... Rhys and Cornell were full, complex characters, and they really stuck with me. Raf and Brendan were also cute- and Raf’s mental health struggles gave this relationship depth. I got through the book fast, and the writing is excellent. Still, I confess to being a bit disappointed. I suppose I was craving a confrontation with Raf’s father, which (spoiler alert!) did not happen in the book, and was only alluded to in the epilogue. I felt it would have wrapped up Raf’s story in an perfect way. Still, a good read.

Just can’t get into ‘little’ play
Couldn’t finish the story because i have a hard time with “Daddy/little” play. I like the author. This particular story just isn’t for me

Perfect!
I’m in awe of the way Ms. Phoenix makes the perfect mixture of sensuality and sensitivity. Raf is fractured and fragile while Brendan’s been broken and abandoned. Apart they’re still whole people but lost and lonely. Together, they’re stronger and better. It’s a wonderful journey that leaves the reader better, too.

So absolutely PERFECT
Nora Phoenix has brought Gentle Hand to give the story Of little Raf and Daddy Brendan to life. It’s so good to be able to read their beginning and understand more of the two and their relationship. You get to know them in Firm Hand, however only see little bits and how their dynamic works but learn so much more of Raf. You get to see their relationship blossom and grow into a sweet and loving DDLB relationship with age play that is so sweet. I loved this and how Nora was able to bring in ADD/ADHD in and realistically how it can be for others struggling with it.

Perfect book!
The story of Daddy Brendan and his baby boy Raf is one of the best Daddy / boy's book I have ever read. The way the author managed their dynamic, the caring for each other and how evolved organically throughout the story until the logical end. Sweet and endearing, easy to read, low angst story about a Daddy and his boy. Simply the perfect addition to this series!

Hot, sweet and totally enjoyable.
This was a lovely story following Raf and Brendan. Their romance was so sweet; Raf was perfectly suited to be a loved Little and Brendan was a gentle bear of a man with so much love to share. The secondary characters like Raf's bestie and Brendan's parents were interesting and really added to the story without being intrusive on my immersion with the main couple. The author treated issues of sexuality and identity with respect and also spiced the story with plenty of hot scenes to leave you blushing. This story is a keeper for me.

Love is unconditional
As quite often happens I’ve come to this book in a roundabout way - having met Brendan and Raf in Captain Silver Fox. Raphael (Raf) had not had the best of childhoods - he had been diagnosed with ADHD when he was young - a condition which caused his father to get angry with him and caused him to constantly worry about not doing anything to exacerbate the situation. He was also gay, something he tried to keep from his homophobic father - however he was lucky in having a best friend, Rhys, who, even while they were still at school, took on the role of Daddy and looked after him. Since finishing college Raf was struggling to find who he was - he found he had no clue how to be an adult and all the kinks he’d so far tried had turned into disasters. It was after the latest attempt, this time puppy play, had failed that he met Brendan, a Daddy Dom who, after previously being unceremoniously dumped by his boyfriend of two years, had decided that he was again ready to find a new, permanent boy. Having heard Rhys and Raf talking he realised that Raf had all the makings to be a little - someone who called to his Daddy side and who he was more than willing to care for. There were times in the story when my heart broke for all the hurt Raf had experienced at his father’s hands but he was more than lucky to have found Brendan - yes an older man, but one who took his role as Daddy to the maximum and who worked out how to ensure that Raf had the utmost love and support he needed and deserved. Brendan also had the most supportive parents who embraced, and loved, Raf unconditionally - something Raf’s own parents had failed to give him. Rhys had been Raf’s supportive best friend for most of his life and I’m looking forward (again working backwards) to read his story in Firm Hand. “Love is supposed to be scary. If it feels too safe and comfortable, especially in the beginning, I’d be worried.”

That was one of the sweetest books I've ever read!
If you read "Firm Hand" before you already know Raf and Brendan since they popped up here and there in the first book. When Nora announced she is going to write their story for a free giveaway in July I was really looking forward to it and what can I say? She didn't disappoint! Even though "Gentle Hand" is the second book in the series it is actually the prequel to their story and tells us how they met, fell into their Daddy/little relationship and most important: how they fell in love with each other! My main problem with the first book was that the whole Daddy/boy relationship was really short-lived and not well-elaborated enough in my opinion. However Brendan and Raf were a dream couple and the whole Daddy/little relationship was the main topic of the whole book. They lived that lifestyle and absolutely loved it! Brendan was the perfect Daddy to Raf's sweet little side <3 This book is totally non angsty, sweet, adorable and - like the title already implies - a really gentle romance story. I really could have read another 100 pages of their story, of their Daddy/little time, their adult time and especially Raf's play time (took me back to my own childhood :D) - LOVED IT! If you are looking for a book to dip your toes into age play and ABDL - this one here is your book! :)
