Slate Cheese Board - MASSACHUSETTS

So much fun! I just moved into a new apartment and this was perfect for my housewarming party. The surface is large enough for several cheese selections and crackers. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the board is and can't wait to use it at my next party. Everyone loved that it was shaped like AZ!

This is a great cheese board! It's such a conversation starter, even while not in use. Great size.

These cheese boards are awesome, I got the Florida state one as a gift and it is great for serving cheeses, meats, crackers and other appetizers at parties. It’s made of solid slate and seems well made and durable. I also love how I can write in chalk on the board to distinguish the different types of cheeses. It is a great gift idea, especially if you know someone who is moving to a new state. I am definitely planning to get other state shapes for gifts in the future!

The item is very attractive, appears top quality and functional. Completely adorable sure to draw complements from guests and would be a clever hostess gift at a nice price point. Item is beautifully packaged with twine and a small manila envelope with chalk.When I unpacked the product, the twine tied around the cutting board left a residue - an oily or moist substance of some kind that I cannot wash off. There is an image of the string in a package fashion embossed on the slate and looks very silly. Unusable for special occasions or for a gift in this condition.It so happened that I had accidentally ordered two of these cheese boards and the second one has the same problem

Well made and ideally shaped for using as a serving platter. Not sure that this would be something I would get out for regular use, more like a special occasion. If you have kids, it's a big sharp around the edges and a little awkward but it's perfect for serving adults really any sort of finger foods (buffet style since it's kind of funny to carry)
