Pure Stevia Powder

When I first bought this, I used it once and found it horrendous, then stuck to my supermarket branded stevia tablets. Once I ran out of those tablets months later, I realised this is actually excellent. Most ‘stevia powder’ products have LOTS of filler, often with erythritol, hence why you use 1tsp, with the aim of matching sugar. This isn’t a health concern, but ultimately it’s just wasting money. Stevia in pure form is 200-400x sweeter than sugar. For argument’s sake, let’s say 300x sweeter. That means that to match a tsp of sugar, you need about 1/300 of a tsp of stevia powder. The scoop it comes with is too large in my opinion, you want to be very cautious. If you put even a bit too much then it will make your tea or coffee taste horrendous. Hence, my realisation that I when used correctly, this product is of incredible quality and is great value for money. It will take a bit of trial and error, you’ll have a few overly sweet cups of tea and overly bitter ones, but once you find the perfect sweet spot (no pun intended) it becomes second nature. Bitter aftertaste is no reason to give a poor review, as this effect varies from person to person (genetics) and is a stevia thing rather than having anything to do with this speicific product. What I will say is to stick with using this for at least a week, I found in my case that my taste buds adapted and I actually love the taste of stevia and have no bitter aftertaste. I have used this daily for a couple months and will never go back to Splenda (Sucralose) or even stevia tablets. Stevia is in my opinion the best sweetener by far for hot drinks, and the healthiest. Sugar alcohols like Xylitol, and especially Erythritol are great for the teeth, but have too minty of a taste.

After recently ditching my former Stevia product because of the hidden and misleading added ingredient list, I went on the hunt for something more pure. I'm glad to report that I think I've hit the jackpot with this one. As I'm use to using Stevia the taste came easy to my buds and it was a seamless transition. I don't cook with it I only use it for tea or coffee. Let me give you a word of warning yet to your advantage. This is very very sweet. In fact I think that it's the sweetest Stevia product I've ever tasted. It comes with a tiny spoon and to taste just half a tiny spoon is equivalent to a tea spoon of regular granulated sugar. At just £9.99 of your precious pounds this product will save you money in the long run and it's small enough to fit in your pocket or bag to take out with you on to go. Can't recommend this enough and if you are not that familiar with the taste of Stevia at the onset, maybe it will take you a few consumptions to get use to the flavour. Just to finish and for the record regular sugar tastes horrible after you get used to Stevia.

Small tub of powder . Best mixed with something like Xylitol ,then has consistancy of sugar- and goes further . Trouble is how do they turn green leaves into white powder, could potentially be worse than sugar . No ill effects on me after a couple of years .

No doubt very good quality Stevia, but knowing that Stevia powder is very light, I hoped I’d be getting the normal-sized container like the ones in supermarkets. Therefore £9.80 for a large egg-cupful has rather floored me. Won’t buy again because I wanted it for baking. I shall go for 1 Kg of mixed Erythritol and Stevia for £11.79 instead. Living and learning.... heyho. The powder is super-sweet, the aftertaste has the usual slightly metallic taste.

The best sugar substitute I've tried. I only use for hot drinks and one scoop tastes like two tea spoons of sugar and it lasts quite a while even though it's a small bottle, a little goes a long way.

Nearest thing to sugar i have ever found and pure. So no additives or fillers. I only use this since I found it. It's a small tub but you only need a little bit as it is incredibly sweet so good value.

The item was delivered quickly enough. I'd tried Stevia many years ago but did noy like the taste. I decided to give this 100% pure version a try - but I still did not like the taste. I'm sure there are many who will be quite happy with how it tastes - but it's not for me.

Okay, I get all of the negative experiences of some here. Here is my good experience. Straight off the bat, I took the suggestion of one customer who found that the little container was awkward to access and had the puff of powder on opening and close without the puff of powder, I had my little screw lidded glass jar ready to deal with this even though some of the powder which seemed statically charged and clung on to the plastic container’s crevices. Once transferred it has been fine. I do not happen to need sugar in tea or coffee so I cannot make a judgement on this. I purchased this for culinary purposes. However I would add that during the transfer to the glass jar, my thumb got a very fine coating so I cautiously liked it, I found no fault as others have but then we all are sensitive in differing ways - I can not imagine not liking sprouts as many do, many people cannot understand my very strong aversion to parsnips. I have a micro scale that deals in .00 grams, one little spoon of this weighs 0.14 grams with the sweetening power of 470 grams of sugar power. This meant that even these scales would not measure for recipes requiring say 50 grams of sugar or erithratol. So I just envisaged what a tenth of this weeny spoon would look like and took my chances in my first experiment with a recipe for coffee pana cotta - got the sweetness just right first time. I have not detected any weird bitter after taste as with 000 stevia. The result was just as if sugar was used. I whooped in delight, this was freedom to have the odd sweet tasting treat on my low carb diet. I am itching to try out my keto recipe for tiramisu without resorting to erythritol etc. So far my experience is good. No big bags of sugar or other sweeteners to store. A one off payment for the sweetness of many bags. If I encounter any pit falls I will report back again.

Compré esta estevia pura porque no puedo tomar azúcar y necesitaba un producto 100 % natural. Al principio me echó un poco para atrás el precio, ya que me parecía relativamente elevado, pero he cambiado de opinión porque el bote cunde muchísimo. Endulza tanto que basta con usar apenas una esquinita de una cucharita de café. Al final, dura mucho más que varios botes de estevia del supermercado. Lo recomiendo si buscas un endulzante natural: es una gran alternativa, rica y sobre todo, sana.

véritable stévia, pure ! pas un truc "mélangé" comme j'en ai vu souvent auparavant. Ne laissez pas le prix ou la petite taille vous tromper, c'est très fort la stévia, j'ai un "gosier sucré" et j'ai pas réussi à utiliser plus de 30% de la boite en plusieurs mois, je pense que j'en aurais pour 1 an minimum. (alors que j'en consomme dans mon café matinal et ma salade de fruits du soir, tous les jours, en plus des autres usages). Je trouve aussi qu'elle a un "gout" moins fort que les autres stévia que j'ai utilisé par le passé, à pouvoir sucrant égal (mais ça reste subjectif)
