I would buy these by the case of 100. Excellent brightness, durability, and build.

heavy duty bulb... hard to get real light bulbs these days that put out good light and heat.... I use it for light and heat - keep things from freezing in a shed

There is never enough light in the kitchen unless I turn on several different lights in close proximity to each other but even that isn't ideal when I need good light so I thought, by replacing the overhead bulb in the centered light fixture above with one that is higher in wattage, perhaps that might help? Not only did it help but now there is so much light in the kitchen that I no longer need or use any of the other lights! The light even extends into the next room and i couldn't be happier. Not to mention that it's incandescent light instead of the 100w LED bulb that was in it before and doing who knows how much damage to our eyes?! (especially because it had to be on so much more often than this one does) Not sure yet just how much more this will cost overall, but if I notice an increase on next month's electric bill and it's significant, I will inform the inquiring minds by updating this review!

Bright, nice quality bulb!

Are you kidding me?! These didn't last 2 weeks. The first one burned out quickly. When I went to unscrew the bulb, it came completely out of the base. I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers to unscrew the burned up base. When I replaced it with the second bulb, (same kind,) the exact same thing happened again! Expensive, absolute junk!!

Still a little difficult to find incandescent bulbs at 200 watt. Sometimes the old reliable is the best thing. I have tried other new tech bulbs and in something that is outside and and have serious vibrations at times, nothing else lasts. All I want is to KNOW that when I throw the switch, it works! I'm not trying to destroy the planet, just keeping life simple. Great bulb! Very durable! Very Bright!

WOW! If you're looking for a bright incandescent bulb to replace those dreadful LED things, this is it! Brilliant warm light at your fingertips. We'll be buying many more of these for sure.
