Love this pen! This pen writes smoothly, I really like writing with it. I put a cartilage in it with the medium nib. It worked great, I waited for quite awhile to use It up before trying the bent nib. I couldn't wait anymore, and pulled out the medium nib leaving the cartilage attached. Then filled the pen with ink and attached the bent nib. Bold to fine lines, fantastic for drawing. It'll take me awhile to learn control, but I've ordered another pen. I'll load another colour of ink in it. I'm looking forward to doing quick bold sketches with this bent nib pen.

Looks and feels good in your hand. It is of higher quality than the chap plastic Sailor Fude de Mannon pen, but not as smooth when using the calligraphy tip. Still a very good pen for the price but if you are into urban sketching stick to the Sailor. It is not as heavy and it runs better on the paper.

I like the pen very much, writes very smooth. I did have some technical issues with the cartridges that caused me to give it less than a favorable review. I have since resolved the problems.

This is an excellent fountain pen, writes smoothly and is striking to look at. The pen arrived quickly and was packaged well.

I bought this for my child who was interested in learning calligraphy. This was perfect. Being a pen person myself, I'm always particular about the weight and feel of them. I checked it out (just because my hands couldn't resist), and it is actually quite nice!

I love the way these old style pens write. Too bad schools have dropped writing in cursive now. It doesn't allow a person to at least present himself as a caring professional.
