Quality.
If you care about keeping your PC cool, you won't go buy fans for $5-$7 that barely push any air. You'll buy these. The fan blades don't 'quiver' as they spin like the cheap alternatives do, and they push a far greater amount of air than the cheaper no-name brand Asian market fans. They don't 'whir' or 'grind' on startup, they consistently emit the same amount of noise (which is purely the sound of air going through them; louder than that emitted by most case fans). The fans have built in rubber stoppers where the screws go in to hold the fans tight to the case without any future rattling or loosening. These fans aren't showy. There's no cool chrome or light up LED's. They are matte black and come with several optional rings of various colors (red, white, blue) that can be installed on the fan, but don't have to go on there. The cords aren't super long, maybe 12". Remember that these are performance fans, they're not ultra quiet- but they don't emit unnecessary noise like whirring, grinding, or rattling. After installing these as a replacement for my entire case, I watched my graphics card's resting temperature go down about 2 degrees. Not a coincidence, I think.

Great fan, high price
I love Corsair's new fan models (this, and the SP line). I purchased the AF120 fan to be used as an intake in my Corsair Vengeance C70. Installation was simple, the rubber mounting holes were easy to work with; they help with noise created by fan vibration against the case when it' operational. The changeable rings go great with almost any build you want to make (minus orange, purple, green, and any other color that isn't red/white/blue). I wish they had shipped black rings, then it would go with probably more builds. I guess Corsair figured white would go with almost anything. These fans are not very pressure optimized. I noticed this when I had the fan mounted on the front of my case while the front panel was off. Feeling for the breeze, I could feel a nice stream of air coming from the AF120. Once I put the front panel back on (with the built in dust filter), I could feel a drastic decrease in air flow. Fortunately it still performs well, and is fairly quiet to boot. Compared to the SP120 fans, the AFs are much quieter. This may be due to a lower set RPM. Overall, these are still a great set of fans. Considering the price, there are others out there that may perform just as well, at a lower price; they just may not look as pleasing as Corsair's Air Series fans. Another thing to consider is packaging. They do include voltage step-down adapters that allow you to lower the RPM by using the included cable. I'm not sure how much lower it goes (most likely 7V rather than 12v), but if you don't want to run the full 1650 RPM you can use the voltage adapter for a quieter fan.

Corsair has the highest quality fans you can buy!
I usually buy these fans in a 2 pack. But I needed only one this time. After buying the Corsair AF series 120mm before, I will not buy any other brand of fans, no matter what size I need. They are THAT good. High quality low noise (only air moving). Not flashy..no ferris wheel lights or other Carnival effects, just understated, quality good looks. If your looking for a great fan with high quality and super airflow, that looks like it BELONGS in a very nice computer. This is the one. You CAN get a fan for maybe $6. But that's what you get ..a $6 fan. Worth maybe..$3. And don't drop it, or you will be buying another $6 fan. You guys back me up on this...WE are not always careful or light of touch. The first thing I did when I got my fan from UPS was rip open the box (I got in a hurry) and the fan pops out and bounces on the floor ;[ My wife sort of halfway looks around from her computer and says...Is that your new fan? Uhh Yea, I say. (Hidding my concern). She ask "Is it Ok?" I now need a confident response.."Oh sure.. it's fine" As I pick it up hoping it isn't broken. I look it over and spin the blades.. Smile and say it again... It's fine, that's why I get the good ones from Corsair. Proud of myself now because my last sentence sounded really good....I think... Oh yea....because it's the truth.

Great fan, but with some faults
This fan does exactly what it's supposed to do, move metric tons of air! Now it's not exactly quiet, but that is not a fault at all. By the time that you raise the volume of the game/movie your watching, the fan noise just disappears. The quiet adapter that comes along with the fan is fantastic. It lowers RPM and noise down enough that it gives the fan a gentle breeze like quality. There was only one fault that I can find in the fan, the rubber corners are perhaps a bit too soft. While installing the fan into my case, one corner broke while tightening a screw! The holes are not threaded and the screws grip on tight. I must have twisted the screw on too fast because I ripped the center mounting hole from the rubber end. I was able to install the fan with only three screws, there is no vibration nor rattling. Being able to change the color ring is a nice touch. I was able to incorporate the fan into my color scheme. I have this fan installed as an exhaust fan, sucking all of the hot air in my mid tower case quickly. Because of this, the overall temperature in the case drops down low. If your looking to replace any stock exhaust fans in your case, please consider the AF 120.

I tried to hand torque the screws and the plastic ...
I tried to hand torque the screws and the plastic nut broke and tore the rubber attached inside to shreds. The fan was quiet and performed correctly with only there bolts attached. I ordered another fan, no issues.

The product comes with 3 matte colored rings(Red, black and blue), the fan and the screws which are rubberized. If you're searching for a fan that is not super expensive, has good airflow and is silent under normal load or has the looks. Then, this is it. I brought the fan for Rs 1,099. Things to keep in mind while buying it. 1. It's not a PWM fan so you can't control the RPM. Noctua has some PWM fans available but they're little more pricey. 2. It is really loud when running under load(Max speed). 3. You can't control the exact RPM but you can set a profile for the fan, so it runs slow. Use FAN Xpert or Speed Fan for fan profiles. 4. It's not a Static Pressure fan, it's for airflow. So, only use it for places that are free from any obstacles like wires, HDD etc. Use Corsair SP series for that.

Pros: - Great Airflow - Fits nearly everywhere - Great as case fans - Quiet on low speeds Cons:-screws require a lot of elbow grease to set the first time - The fan cables seems super short
