I was messaged by the company itself how I liked the sauce
First off I had just a pleasure dealing with the company of this hot sauce. Beside from quick shipping, I was messaged by the company itself how I liked the sauce. I was not fully won over, as how I was told this sauce tasted like a more full profile habanero sauce. When I mean by more full profile I was told it was similar to the likes aardvark or yellowbird habanero, so basically not just something that spikes up something but gives what ever your eating that distinct taste of your sauce. This is not that, but what I came to find out with using this sauce that's a great thing. But by just letting the company know my initial thoughts, they quickly sent out a bottle of there garlic sauce which was more of a profile I was told about this antidote sauce. The garlic is a definite great sauce but this hot sauce really won me over in the long run. This is by far the best clean and straight to the point southern cajun habanero sauce. You want some kick without making what ever your eating just taste like your go to sauce, this is the one for you. Also found my self using this to spike up the heat of my other sauces like sriracha, franks, crystal etc. The heat is perfect for me, spicy no doubt but not overpowering and taking away from your meal. Also do to the good amount of heat you use small amounts, thus enabling one bottle to last very long. Just placed another order for a bottle, 10/10 and for what it is, its the best out there.

A must try for any hot sauce lover!!!
I bought Zombie Cajun Hot sauce for my Brother as part of his Birthday gift. My brother is the king of trying all hot sauces ( I believe he has tried just about them all. ) He absolutely LOVEs this sauce he said" It is the best hot sauce he has tried" It is all natural which you can tell because there is nothing artificial about the taste. He said it has a nice heat when it hits your mouth and a really nice after burn after you swallow it. It doesn't hide the flavor of the food you put it on but it enhances it to the next level. I think this will be his hot sauce of choice from now on and I am guessing it has to be one KILLER of hot sauce because I have never heard him brag about any hot sauce as much as this one. I know he will be trying all the flavors. For anyone who is a hot sauce fan I would highly recommend you try Zombie Cajun they have a great choice of flavors to choose from that would please and palate and there customer Service like there product is second to none :)

A mild sauce without any unpleasant aftertaste.
Heat: not a H O T sauce by any stretch of imagination. We are not talking about a sauce that I would swig, and the manufacturer puts it well: it is meant to be used, and often. As a result, the bottle doesn't last long.Flavor: not very strong. Not very tart, sweet, or fruity either. I can taste the base peppers, although I am not sure about the "Cajun seasoning" that is supposed to have been added. A distinct floral undertone that is not cloying.Body: thin but not runny, with tiny chunks. Slightly sticky.Aftereffects: The heat, such as it is, is not lasting. The "burning plastic" aftertaste evident in some of the modern sauces is thankfully absent.Packaging: cheap plastic bottle, making it easy to squeeze the sauce out. I like the label. Definitely no complaints.Current preferred method of consumption: squeeze out a teaspoon or so on a blue corn chip. Enjoy. Repeat. It really does go down easy. Why not five stars? I don't mind the lack of heat, but I would prefer more flavor - something richer and more complex.

HEAT with taste!!!!
I have tried a large number of hot sauces. Most of them are good, especially on the "heat" factor. What I really like about "The Antidote" is the FLAVOR. Yes... There is heat, involved. In fact, it is quite hot. Not to the point of overwhelming, however. Too many hot sauces are hot enough that they "numb" the taste-buds. (My opinion... Not based on scientific studies). The Antidote does have an initial, attention-getting burst of heat. That is followed (quite quickly) by a very pleasant taste. I will not attempt to describe the taste. My perceptions would likely be different, from yours. (Hey... We are ALL "wired differently"). You can taste the peppers which are used to make the sauce. I like the taste. If you like hot sauces, I would encourage you to try The Antidote, and see whether you like it, as well

It's Louisiana hot sauce.
Louisiana hot sauce is: white vinegar, salt, peppers. This is Louisiana hot sauce. By the transitive property of equality, this is white vinegar, salt, peppers. End of review. But really, it's not special. It just is. This tastes like any number of Louisiana-style hot sauces.I'm not a fan of Louisiana hot sauce in general, being that as far as I can tell, it's a one-note wonder. White vinegar, peppers, salt. I can't say this is BAD on that basis; it seems to be competent. The consistency is at least a bit thicker, fortunately not a pepper infusion in white vinegar like Texas Pete, Tabasco or Louisiana. The peppers are predominantly or entirely cayenne. My preference is for hot sauces that can either feature clear, interesting pepper varietal flavors, or complement heat with interesting mixes of herbs, spices and bases, or both. This, and other generic Louisiana-style hot sauces all taste the same, and don't do either of the things I find interesting about hot sauces. Again, this isn't bad - it's just not interesting. If you like this style of hot sauce, this one is perfectly competent.
