I keep them together using a fitted crib mattress. Due to the weakness in his legs he was not able to lift his legs over this easily. Once I helped him place his legs on the wedge he was very comfortable.The frustration of the weakness in his legs is why I returned this.Returning this was not easy! BECAUSE I could not fit it back in the box it came in I paid $24 to ship it back to Amazon to return it. I am a Prime Member & have been for many years. I also went to other places that Amazon returns can go and the price was the same to return it. Due to the size & weight that’s what it cost.Because of the return frustration I would not buy this again or recommend it.
