It is - terrible writing, nothing makes sense, endless cheap sensationalism, bad art work. In short, there is no reason for anyone to read this.Examples:Starlight - The sole purpose of Starlight is to introduce an innocent, blond, pretty, all American girl and then pointlessly degrade her. She's accepted into the 7, and on first meeting with Homelander, he and 2 other 7's drop their trousers and demand blow jobs to let her in the group. Bc why not humiliate a new member and guarantee they hate you. In her other scene her costume gets adjusted to show more skin. Bc of course.Butcher / CIA head - Every time they meet, they have sex while telling each other how much they despise each other.Wee Hughie - Hughie is a weak, waffling wimp with no apparent positive qualities. He seems like a pure loser. Yet for no apparent reason, Butcher recruits him and brings him into his presumably elite gang.Compound V - A compound exists that instantly turns normal people in super people. But for some reason, the people that control the compound - the government - don't take it themselves, because who wants to be super?Mini Nina (or whatever her name is) - a midget Russian who has apparently killed more people than anyone in the world, who everyone is afraid of, and who really likes giant dildos. Oh, and Butcher kills her by putting an explosive in the dildo. Of course!The book itself is mostly about Butcher and his gang mindlessly stumbling through adventures accomplishing almost nothing. Nothing that either they, or their antagonists, or the other random characters that show up do makes any sense at all. There is no real character development and no real plot.
