Never once have I had an issue getting the home button in. The hole in the glass was too small for the home button & it failed after trying to get it in the proper spot. Another review spoke of bad ribbon cables. I am super careful with them myself so I had no worries, however after fidgeting with the home key & never getting it to fit, one of the cables did break. After 3 hours thinking I was doing something wrong, I used a micrometer on the hole, it was in fact physically impossible for the home button to fit in this screen. My daughter runs a business, so I guess on Labor Day weekend on a Sunday, we're going to have to pay a repair shop & hope we find one open, & hope they have a replacement home button. What a disaster this screen was.
