โ โ โ โ โ Gentle and Effective Skincare
This treatment has been a great addition to my skincare routine. It has a lightweight texture, absorbs quickly, and doesnโt leave my skin feeling greasy. My skin feels smoother, looks clearer, and has a healthier appearance with consistent use. Itโs gentle enough for everyday use and layers well with the rest of my skincare products. Excellent quality for the priceโI would definitely purchase it again.

Sensitive Skin Approved!
Once I turned 30, hormonal changes started happening and my skin started to break out. I am a person that did not struggle with acne at all growing up, so this was completely new to me. I have dry, sensitive skin. I also have eczema. I am a person that does not use scented products (lotions, creams, anything scented is a no for me). I bought this set to see if it would help after using Curology and it did not make a difference. And it did! I followed the instructions and after about a month, the hormonal acne I was experiencing on my chin, cheeks, and jaw, disappeared. The products were a bit drying, but I made sure to moisturize on top of the entire routine. Whenever applying your skincare, always use clean hands, let your products dry before moving on to the next step (use a fan to speed up the process), and avoid touching your face after to minimize bacteria. This product makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so always use SPF everyday. TLDR; I am extremely happy with the results of this product. If you are a sensitive skin girly, don't worry. This routine saved my skin!

Adult Cystic Acne and Sensitive Skin
I will be updating this review as time goes on. I bought this product four days ago (today is 8/29/22. I am in awe. I have been struggling with adult/cystic acne for years and have tried damn near everything. Even the fancy expensive skincare products and everything makes it WORSE. I have very sensitive skin and was getting to the point where I was getting new acne every couple of days and it was very inflamed and red. I noticed minor scarring happening and panic purchased this skin set (which I often do when I get flare ups but to no avail). I noticed a different within 12 hours of the first use. I used this at night and when I woke up my acne was noticeably less red and inflamed. In the four days I have been using this product I have not gotten ANY new acne. Which is a miracle. The current acne is getting less noticeable with each use and I want to cry I feel so relieved. Couple of notes: 1. This has been working for my acne, my acne is adult and cystic and I have sensitive skin. They may not work for different skin/acne types. 2. This is fairly drying, please use a light moisturizer after use. 3. Apply step 2 and 3 very lightly, if you do too much it will feel like a strong menthol burning sensation. 4. Use a cotton pad to apply step 2, itโs a liquid and canโt be applied with just your hands. 5. This is a strong formula, particularly steps 2 and 3. Do not use steps 2 and 3 more than once a day in the beginning if you have sensitive skin. Slowly transition yourself into this routine or you could end up causing a flare up. 6. I recommend using this at night before bed and not in the morning. It gives your skin time to soothe and calm down. 7. On a similar note, this product will make your skin more sensitive to sun/light. Please wear a good face sunscreen everyday. 8. Steps 1 and 2 have virtually no scent, but step 3 smells a bit odd. Nothing very strong, but I would describe it almost like latex medical gloves? So just and fyi. 9. I have acne on my upper lip so I apply all three steps there, it has caused my top lip to chap and burn so I have had to reapply chapstick a lot throughout the day. Small price to pay in my mind. Overall: If you have been struggling with acne and feel at the end of your rope, for $30 this product is worth a try. But stick to it and be diligent.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological 3 Step Acne Treatment System
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological 3 Step Acne Treatment System. Iโve been using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Treatment System for a few weeks now, and while I appreciate some aspects of it, there are also a few things that left me a bit underwhelmed. Hereโs a detailed breakdown of my experience: Pros: โ Gentle on the Skin โ One of the things I immediately noticed about this system was how gentle it was. Iโve tried other acne treatments in the past that left my skin feeling dry, tight, or irritated. This set didnโt do that. The cleanser, toner, and treatment lotion are all lightweight and non-drying, which I really appreciated. โ Non-Comedogenic and Soothing โ The formulas didnโt clog my pores, which is a huge plus for someone with sensitive skin prone to breakouts. The soothing properties, likely due to the inclusion of La Roche-Posayโs Thermal Spring Water, kept my skin feeling calm throughout the treatment process. โ Easy to Use โ The systemโs step-by-step process made it simple to incorporate into my routine. Each product is straightforward, and the packaging is convenient and easy to use. โ Good for Mild Acne โ After using the system for a while, I did notice some improvement in my smaller, more frequent breakouts. It helped reduce the size and redness of my blemishes, which was nice. Cons: โ Takes Time to See Results โ While I saw some improvement, it wasnโt immediate. It took several weeks of consistent use to notice any real changes, which might be frustrating for those who want faster results. โ Not Strong Enough for Severe Acne โ Unfortunately, this system didnโt help much with deeper, cystic acne. My more stubborn breakouts remained persistent despite continued use. If you struggle with acne thatโs more than just occasional pimples, this might not be enough to combat it effectively. โ Pricey for the Results โ While La Roche-Posay is known for its quality, I do feel that the price tag for this system might not be entirely justified by the results. Given the amount of time it took for noticeable improvement and the fact that it didnโt work wonders for more severe acne, it feels a bit on the expensive side for what you get. โ Slightly Drying Over Time โ Although it didnโt dry me out at first, after using the products consistently, I did notice a slight dryness around my T-zone, especially after applying the treatment. This may not be a big issue for people with oilier skin, but if you have dry or combination skin, you may need to layer a moisturizer afterward. Final Verdict: Overall, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Treatment System is a solid option for those dealing with mild acne and looking for a gentle, non-irritating solution. However, it may not be strong enough for those with more persistent or severe breakouts. If youโre seeking quick results, this might not be your best bet, as it takes a little longer to see visible improvement. While itโs effective to some extent, I expected a bit more for the price. 3/5 stars. Itโs a decent, gentle acne treatment system, but not necessarily a miracle worker. Iโll continue using it, but Iโm on the lookout for something that works faster and addresses all types of acne more effectively.

If you are reading this, you are looking for an acne cure--this is the closest cure I've come to for acne!
After so many trips to the dermatologist and trying so many RX and OTC products to help with my acne, nothing came close in months and years to the Effaclar regimen did for my skin in days! I had never had perfect skin, but also had never suffered severe or cystic acne, but after having a reaction to medication I had a massive flare of adult acne. Then came cystic acne, which left me miserable, embarrassed to go out in public and in pain--who knew acne actually could cause that much physical pain?? What was the cherry on top of this awful acne sundae was that once the cystic acne would begin to heal, it would make large areas and spots of discoloration that stayed even when the acne went dormant. Finally, I came across Effaclar and the reviews seemed positive and the fact that I'd never seen this product on TV with a celebrity with splashing water and bubble playfully being shoved in my face, I thought that maybe this product didn't need all of the celebrity endorsements because maybe it spoke for itself. Turns out, it definitely spoke for itself and it said, you can have clear skin! Now my skin is looking better than EVER (even before I had these flares of adult acne), my pores seem to be smaller and tighter, my skin is much more balanced in terms of texture and oil, and best of all, it has helped to heal and erase the hyper pigmentation my bout with acne had left behind as a constant reminder. Perfect skin? No. But I know that I can rely and trust La Roche-Posay and that I know that Effaclar has from the very first day I used it healed any existing acne, prevented future breakouts, and even erased the dark marks that were left behind from my brutal acne battles. I also know that I am not embarrassed by the thought that my acne enters a room before I do! The 3 products in this package are a great value for great results and anyone who has seen this review means you or someone you know is probably having trouble with acne and that means you should definitely buy this product and just try it. Really, what do you have to lose?

Great Products But Use in Moderation!
I've had great luck with this product set. Due to a prolonged period of stress, my normally clear complexion developed issues which necessitated more than Dove soap and a Vitamin C serum everyday. I read many reviews where others experienced bad reactions to these products. So, I'm passing along the best pieces of advice I saw online for these products or products like them. Following these tips has made my first week of use effective with no adverse effects (burning, peeling, etc.). On the third day I did experience a slight breakout but it cleared up by day 5. I feel like this was a normal rebellion since my skin wasn't used to harsh cleansers and topicals being regularly applied. Things I read that worked for me: 1. Do not use all three products together twice a day. The cleanser can be used twice a day if needed but if it's too harsh use it only once a day. 2. Apply the toner (step 2) lightly and gently with a disposable cotton pad. Rinse it off with warm water so it doesn't sit on the skin. 3. Apply the dual action acne treatment (step 3) in the morning and in the spots needed only. 4. Do not use the dual action acne treatment (step 3) in combination with a retinol product. 5. Retinol products are best used at night. 6. Apply a light, oil free moisturizer because skin dries out using these products. La Roche-Posay sells two fabulous light moisturizers.

THIS SAVED MY SKIN
I wish I had taken before pictures, but after running through so many products and not having that "saving grace" I didn't bother. As with anything, you've got to give it a bit... it was a couple of weeks of using twice daily before I started noticing a difference - and it just continued to improve from there. This doesn't really have a scent (maybe slightly like rubbing alcohol? But very very faint). I've been using all 3 steps and only have recently started noticing drying...which in fairness, is on me because I haven't been properly moisturizing. Usually these treatments irritate my face after a few days, and this one has not. My skin is also super super soft after use. I've noticed overall my oiliness has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY. I do still get oily, but not nearly as bad as before, and really only my forehead. Murad had been my go to initially, because in high school that was the only thing that helped. Does not compare to how quickly this cleared up my skin!! I'm still getting the occasional pimple but they're not painful and swollen like they were before, and it's sporadic. Highly recommend this. As a side note - I haven't used step 3 much, so I'm amazed for that reason as well. I've only used it a couple of times since purchasing (only because I had misplaced it for awhile).

Use it at night, wake up looking fresh.
I only used it 1 day, and I already see a difference. I was using salicylic acid wipes but it wasnt strong enough and needed something that offers more. I get these horribly hideous little bumps all over my forehead. I wash my face with just regular soap, and then used these wipes. It stung a tiny bit and I got worried but it went away as the solution dried up. I did not get any chemical burns which is what I was afraid off. The #1 thing I dislike is that it leaves a sticky feeling on your face, I really wanted to go wash my face again but I left it. Don't wash it off. I applied all my other regular stuff. ( Hence that's why I gave it 3 star. I absolutely hate that feeling but it's barrable since I want clear skin) after I put my lotion and cream on it kind of made the feeling go away a bit. I woke up this morning, ( oh yeah did I mention I did this at night ... Around 6 pm), and I notice alot of the bumps on my forehead are either gone or have shrunk. Now I don't even know what you call these bumbs. I'm assume it like sweat/ oil that gets trap in the skin but it's different from pimples that are easy to pop, or black heads and it's not cyst acne. I read in my ow research, glycolic acid help alot of people get rid of these bumbs and smooth out the skin. Excellent exfoliator. I'll come back and update this review in a few weeks. Also, the pads may stick together so make sure you're using one and not wasting another lol. WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER APPLYING, don't put it too close to your lips or eyes. And I think that's all I have to say for now.

Just perfect
I bought this set 3 times already and I have been recommending it to almost everyone I know, I've never been satisfied with any products like this one, I do not use the cleanser everyday. I use the toner every day on all face and then the small tube on certain areas (forehead, between eyebrows and abit top of the cheeks) I then use their other product on all face [Cicaplast Baume B5+SPF]. Beautiful guaranteed results from first day ๐โค๏ธ
