LOVE IT! My husband and I easily put this ...
LOVE IT! My husband and I easily put this together in no time. It's helpful to have 2 people - one on each end - but not necessary. It's a very attractive piece, good quality, and heavy duty, I especially like the fact that it's moveable without having to empty it. The 2 locking wheels keep it in place when needed. The wheels operate smoothly, are very sturdy, and won't break down. This is a good quality piece, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others. I'm using it in the basement to hold my extra kitchen items and not-often-used small kitchen appliances. It's filled up and looks so nice now. It puts to shame the rickety metal shelving I previously had. I'm going to order at least 1 more, maybe 2, for my husband's work shop.

I expected "good". I got better than what I expected.
This is a great, mature product. Even though it's something simple, it's clear that a lot of thought went into it and the company cares a great deal about their customer experience. What's to like? 1. NSF-certified chrome plated shelving. 2. Extra hardware is included, allowing this unit to be used: 2a - with good quality casters (two of which are locking), 2B - with adjustable leveling feet, 2C - as 2 separate half-height shelving units, 2D - combined with additional shelving units to create a taller unit (although you might want to secure it to reduce the risk of it tipping over), 2E with 6 additional metal shelf-overhangs that can be used for either converting this into a clothes-rack or expanding the shelf-depth a bit in such a way that you don't have to worry about anything rolling off. 3. an extra set of plastic shelf lock-clips was included in case you someone manage to break one or screw one up. 4. it was well packaged. 5. a wrench was included to tighten the casters on. 6. Double-score marks at periodic intervals on the corner posts enables one to easily adjust each self to the right height on each pole. What's not to like? One tiny quibble (might affect 1 out of 10 people, and drops my score from "10" to "9.95"): I decided to use the locking casters, despite putting this unit on an uneven garage floor. To level it out I raised the shelves on the lower side (worked great) but also felt the need to loosen / adjust some of the casters so that all four of them were on the ground and the shelves were even more level. The quibble? When the casters aren't fully screwed into the bottom plugs, there's a little bit too much play; ideally there would be a few more threads and/or the tolerances in the threads would be a bit tighter to remove the wiggle room. All in all a very minor flaw in an otherwise great product.

Very satisfied overall. Frustrated that two versions exist.
We had kitchen plans prepared during a home renovation, but somewhere between the general contractor disappearing and high school tuitions, the luxurious granite/wood kitchen was delayed indefinitely. Instead, we opted for a utilitarian/commercial design until the big splurge, if ever. These units are perfect and perfectly compliment the stainless steel commercial sinks and counters we bought. We have a sleek and highly functional kitchen, for a fraction of the cost. The units delivered to our house were in perfect condition. No damage to boxes or content. Very easy to assemble, though the back bracket on each shelf took a moment to figure out. The wheels and brake locks work well, and it would be easy to maneuver the units around under full load. We installed the two wheels with locks facing front, rather than both on a side, because that is more functional for our purposes. The silver color is 'polished' and the weld points are clean. I was and remain extremely satisfied with my purchase. I paid $140 for each unit.[UPDATE 1] After a recent run to Costco for unrelated products, I saw shelf units for $90 with the same specs as these. The floor models were banged up badly, the stainless steel a little more 'dull' and the weld points weren't as polished, so I'd like to think these are better quality. HOWEVER, the units at Costco had a reinforced center bracket beneath each shelf (ie imagine the reinforcement that surrounds the bottom of each shelf, also running down the center length of each shelf). Seeing that reinforcement has caused me to wonder whether my shelves will sag slightly with time if under heavy load. The bottom shelf of one unit in our kitchen is weighed down with several glass bottles, and there does appear to be some mild flex to the center of the shelf. Had I not seen the units at Costco, I would probably have dismissed it entirely because it's hardly noticeable. I do remember reading another rating before I purchased that referenced support bars being on one unit delivered, but not another. I did not understand at the time what was being shared, but wonder now if there are two versions (if not more) of the same product being sold/delivered through Amazon.[UPDATE 2] Email correspondence with the manufacturer about the reinforcement bar and whether they are mistakenly describing/advertising a product as 'heavy duty'. Original email at top. I am informed that there ARE two versions, one of which appears to be far heavier duty than the other, notwithstanding the manufacturer's explanation to the contrary. Until some sense is made of this and I feel certain that I received the 'heavy duty' shelves that I paid for, I am removing a star from my rating.---------------------------------------On Mon, Jan 26, 2015 at 1:15 PM, <[e-mail address removed]> wrote:1) Link to Amazon listing: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008ALBDFW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=12) Picture: Amazon Image3) Picture: Reinforcement Bar4) Product Description: Amazon Listing AttachedJudging from the customer feedback and the Trinity wire shelf at Costco yesterday, there appears to be a version of these units with a reinforcement bar down the center of each shelf. The description on Amazon says the two that I purchased are heavy duty, but they don't have the reinforcement bar.---------------------------------------On Jan 28, 2015, at 5:48 PM, Trinity Products International - Amazon Marketplace <[e-mail address removed]> wrote:Yes, TRINITY makes a different version without the reinforcement beams and instead lay 5 wires across the shelf. This achieves the same weight capacity and keeps the weight more evenly balanced, and at the same time lowers the weight of shipping. In fact, you can see them in the photo that I previously forwarded to you. Since one version has *both* a reinforcement bar *and* the 5 wires, the version with both would necessarily be the heavy(ier) duty version. Can you please verify the information again. I'm primarily interested in having the heavy duty versions, and have no other motivation.[UPDATE 3] Bought three from a generic wholesaler on e**y for $70 each with free shipping and no sales tax. Although they do not have shelf back-stands, the shelves are heavier duty, with a reinforcement bar running beneath each shelf. The size and dimensions of the unit are the same, as are the wheels. 50% less expensive. Essentially, you are spending app $10 per shelf back-stand, on a shelf that does not have the commercial grade reinforcement.

I love it
this wire shelving is great, it arrived today and it took me about 20 minutes to put it together by myself. it is a big size and that's what I wanted, it is very strong ,made with some kind of steel durable material, has brake so it will not move. It is worth the price. The backing shelves or stoppers so what you put on the shelves does not slide back and fall was a little harder to put into place, you need a lot of pressure to lock it in place, other than that it is a great shelving unit, looks fancy and I put it in my kitchen to store things I by at Costco. I highly recommend the wire shelving, I think it is a good fit for a garage. Very happy with my purchase.

Very sturdy storage shelves
Very sturdy storage shelves . Easy to assemble . Use in kitchen for microwave , toaster oven ,etc . Easy to move . These items are good for just about everything . I use a black one as a entertainment center . I would recommend this item for anything . I stood on the shelves to evaluate their durability . I am an extended size person . The shelves gave me a feeling of complete safety . Hardware includes the ability to have two separate , three shelf systems . One system with wheels , the other stationary .
