does the food taste good somebody told me the it didn't taste the same done in a pressure cooker so does it taste good please

sometimes pressure cookers do change the way food tastes, becaus eyou have to add an amount of water that may not be the same, or because the programmes do not cook it how you like it, some like very overcooked carrots, some like them crunchy still, so the texture of a preprogrammed thing is going to be some arbitrary "ideal" cooking point. it may not be to your liking so they have the ability to either increase or decrease the time and or pressure. meats cooked in a slow cooker are also quite different in texture, usually more soft, many people may not like this and prefere a chewey stew or casserole to a soft slow cooked peice of meat. the taste is going to  be somewhere llike boiling steaming or casseroling... versus frying whihc also is a different taste to pressure cooking. but you dont realllly pressure cook frying things, you pressure cook things that you would usually boil or steam,  or casserole and stew, meats like tough stewing steak or shoulders of pork, thing slike rice and grains or beans, and all of those things will taste similar to how they do when you boil steam or casserole them. things like carrots or veggies whihc you may enjoy lightly stir fried could taste very different coming out of a pressure cooker. but then they would taste very sifferent boiled. one thing i do dislike myself is vegatables done in pressure, or slow cooked, they seem to lose all their texture, and you cant add them in at the end because it takes  while for pressure to release. you can with teh slow cooking though, its awesome for tough meat to become tender but dreadful if you add vegatables in for slow cooking. they just take such different times its not possible to cook them all togther at one time and have them be perfectly cooked. and where with a nromal pot you can throw things in at the end you cant do that when using pressure mode. hope that helps.

interested in rising bread dough in it, any information would great not sure what programmme to use.

Hi - you can use the Yogurt setting for this - on 'normal' yogurt the temp is 40c but on 'less' the temperature is 34c which I believe is the optimum level. Perhaps for a moist dough you could add water in the bottom - warm it for 1 minute using saute then put the dough in a bowl on the trivet.

I see on the Instant Pot website that there is a new model with some sort of bluetooth connection. Is this that model?

No it is the one before, the duo60 7 in 1. This one is absolutely fantastic. In the 3 days I've had it I have made every single meal in it (also pre cooked for the dogs) from fresh yogurt over night,  poached eggs, porridge, rice and chicken pasanda curry to sautéing lamb shank to cooking the same for pulling then adding and making an italian sauce to the dry pasta and cooking it all in one. Every single bit has come out super and with only one -two button pushes and no watching over it.After reading up on the new bluetooth I decided I didn't need to go high tech. For me there is less to go wrong with this model and as my husband will be using it too (who is technophobe) he gets impatient with tech stuff it's best to use this one. But who know maybe one day I'll change my mind.

Question 4

This Instant Pot IP-DUO60 is 6L, right?  How many cups of rice will be cooked in this 6L pot? Can the pot also accommodate a whole chicken?
