Arch height important on your insert fit.
Installed these inserts into my Asics for low arches and they feel great. Arch height is important. It took the back of my knee pain away. Walking normal again. Good sturdy feeling from the insert. Will buy again.

Dramatically reduced my foot pain within hours! Happy, happy feet!!!!
These insoles are amazing! I have been suffering for several months with severe plantar fasciitis iin my left foot. I have moderate pronation in that foot & have also had surgery in the past to remove a neuroma in that foot. I have tried new shoes, exercises, cold therapy, night splints, compression socks, etc. with very little relief of the pain. I am unable to take anti-inflammatory medications or steroids due to severe side effects. I placed these into my shoes and my pain was significantly better almost immediately. I was completely pain free after 3 hours of walking with these in my shoes. I cannot believe that this insole had such an impact on my pain! My pronation is completely corrected. The arch support feels great & it is in the correct place for my feet. Usually most arch supports are too far forward for my feet. They feel wonderful to my feet. I also purchased the copper which is basically the same insole with memory foam on top. I use it in my roomier shoes as it is thicker. This insole is thin enough that it fits into all my shoes as long as I remove the original factory insoles. These have been a life changer for me. I can now wear all of my shoes even the ones without good arch support as long as I have these in the shoes................UPDATE...........I have been wearing these insoles in all my shoes for 3 weeks. My foot pain has totally resolved. I was in tears when I walked prior to using these insoles. They have changed my life! Sounds a little dramatic, but it is true. I also purchased the copper Superfeet which has a memory foam top. It is very comfortable, but they are not thin enough to fit into all of my shoes. The black insoles fit into any of my shoes (after you remove the original insole). Most of my shoes are Easy Spirit which have removable insoles (a great feature). I had to rip the insoles out of all my Skechers shoes. My Skechers had comfortable memory foam insoles, but absolutely no arch support whatsoever! Probably why I started having foot pain in the first place! I purchased another pair of the black Superfeet so I would have some insoles for my yard work sneakers.

Great Insert
I have been using the for years and they work just as well as the more expensive custom fit inserts that I have purchased. These Superfeet provide the needed arch support and are very comfortable, so much so that I can wear these all day long, in my everyday business shoes and don't even notice they are there. They are particularly beneficial in my shoes when I travel for business, especially going overseas. With all of the walking in airports (or running to make a flight), and in most European and Asian countries, walking is more the norm, so with these inserts, my feet do not feel any fatigue at the end of the day. I use the black version, which is thinner for dress and causal shoes. The blacks take up less volume, less padding on the soles, and I prefer these as opposed to the blue version, which has more padding and makes feet feet fit tighter in my shoes. I actually use the blacks in my running and hiking boots also. The fit is pretty much exact, depending on the she of the toe box. For some of my business or dress shoes, I trim the toe portion the insert to match the existing she of the shoe's original insert to get an exact fit. For my running shoes, they fit perfectly, so I do not need to do any trimming. The only caveat is that the arch and heel portion of these inserts is hard plastic and have a tendency to squeak when they rub against the hard inner sole of the shoe (after removing the shoe's original insert. I remedy is to get some thin felt with an adhesive backing and place it in the area of the shoe where the plastic portion of the insert will fit. This has eliminated all squeaks in my dress and casual shoes.

Different models will work for you depending on your shoes, not your foot size.
Superfeet are constructed of a hard plastic shell in their back portion that is covered on top by a cloth-covered foam pad of varying degrees of thickness. I have tried three (Black, Blue and Green) so far and found all three wound up being perfect in a different kind of shoe. Since they are rather pricey I thought I'd detail my experience and with any luck it'll help you decide which version you should start with. I have been buying gel insoles for years and have always been a big fan of that luxurious cushion. However I am spending more and more of my time in outdoor activities and, having high arches, I know whats in store for me if I don't address arch support. Gel insoles do not do this well. Superfeet are NOT cushy thick gel insoles. You won't get that kind of short term comfort but you will get the long term benefits of arch support. If transitioning from gel insoles... don't freak out and give these a chance before you run in the other direction. They're comfortable, but in a different way. My experience has been that the effectiveness of a pair of Superfeet varies depending on the shoe you are working with. I wear 10.5 D shoes and weigh 245 lbs. The E size works without any trimming in all of my shoes. I just slip them in. I originally added a pair of green Superfeet (high arch, thick-for-Superfeet cushion) to my Lowa Zephyr 8" boots to replace the thin-but-reasonably effective insole that came with that boot. After two full days I decided Green was too much arch for me, and the cushioning, while nice, was just a hair too much for my feet to have a roomy fit in the toe box. I moved the Green soles to a pair of Bass casual lace-up shoes that my feet sit pretty deep into. The Green soles were perfect there. They have stayed in those shoes, which I often wear all day. The arch support has broken in a little, being a bit over the top for the first day but not noticeable after Day 2. After this break-in I tried moving them back to the Lowas and no dice. Still not right for them. The Lowas had some arch support built into their structure already so the Green added too much. To try again I went in the other direction and purchased a set of Black Superfeet in E (low arch, almost no cushion) and plugged them in. This time, they fit perfectly in the boot and provided a very modest amount of arch support. In fact, in those boots I was basically doing only a little better than the factory insoles. The point of the exercise was to improve support, so I tried the Blacks in a few other shoes and they were the perfect addition to my more or less flatfooted leather dress loafers. My third and last pair (so far) was a set of Blue Superfeet (medium arch, medium cushion), again in E. I plugged these first into some tennis shoes and - very comfortable. The arch this time nicely hugged my feet and gave good support. Put them into the boots and that finally squared them away. Nice and snug against my arch without feeling like I have a baseball stuffed in my shoe.

Good basic insoles for feet that tend to get sore.
I get tendinitis and ankle problems from some shoes and sneakers and tend to pronate. These insoles use a solid heel cup to keep your feet properly aligned, cutting down on instability. I've used them for years and they always keep my feet functioning correctly, even after a long day on concrete or hiking around. I generally use the hiking boot or sneaker specific insoles for my boots and sneakers but these work for those purposes as well. It's an individualized thing though and not every insole works for every person. Some of Superfeet's insoles weren't a good fit for me but these are. I am a repeat buyer many times over.

Pain-free firm support for my super-flat (i.e. non-existent) arches
I usually have a lot of trouble with stiff orthotic inserts, because I have completely fallen arches since I was a child which barely show any arch with the toes flexed. In the past I've suffered from plantar fasciitis and iliotibial band syndrome which were corrected by custom orthotics when I was younger. I have problems wearing shoes that aren't designed specifically for orthotic inserts, or are of themselves made for comfort/extended walking. I put these insoles into a pair of new boots that I love dearly but which have a very hard footbed with barely any arch support, and so was already sending familiar twinging warning signs the first day I was wearing them. The boots are a snug fit in the midfoot and toe area and the insole is sewn in (not removable) so I had to find insoles that were slim enough to fit without compromising support. Yes these Superfeet Black insoles are more expensive than your typical Dr Scholls or Spencos. But the moment I stood on them to try them out, it was a case of "where have you been all my life?!" Most stiff arch insoles hurt the arch areas of my foot after 10-20 mins of walking, and continue hurting --- it's discouraging when everything else feels comfortable BUT the arch area. With the Superfeet Black insoles, I could feel the firm but flexible arch support WITHOUT any pain! It's like a miracle for a 100% flat-footed person like me to be able to wear insoles without having to suffer from the arch pain. It has been between a rock and a hard place with wearing ONLY cushion insoles (which cause my fallen arches to eventually ache as well as other issues related to posture/gait) or wearing other arch support insoles, which provide correction to my arches but TOO much, so they hurt. These are something, at least for now, fantastic. I bought a size larger than my shoe size because I saw a video where someone was being fitted for these and had to go two sizes up to fit the length of her arch -- that was more important than the actual length of the insole, which makes sense since you can just trim off the excess. If this comfort and support level lasts (will update if it doesn't) I'll be getting Superfeet Blacks for all my shoes from now on. If you're also flat-footed to the point where your wet footprint shows zero arch at all, and you've had the same pain when trying the "hard" arch support inserts, I would recommend trying these. These also have the "hard" semi-flexible plastic arch structures, but they're lower than anything else I've tried and fit very comfortably. (Caveat: Since all feet are different, YMMV of course.)

Very durable. Last for years
I’ve been using these in my shoes for many years. I’m getting probably 5-7 years out of a pair, and honestly, I don’t really think they are much work out even by then. Arch still seems strong and fabric on top has never worn off a pair I’ve had. Easy to trim down if you need to. I keep a pair in all my shoes.
