Must buy. Great for pets or elderly.
This camera worked awesome! I would highly recommend. Easy set up. Attached to my phone along with another one I have. Excellent for keeping an eye on my mom or our cat when we were on vacation. Super easy to use. Zoom works great. Motion detected shows my mom wondering around the house. The picture quality is awesome.

Love these cameras
So for those of you who have trouble getting your cameras to connect to your WiFi, here’s what I did: Initially during setup, you’ll want to use an ethernet cable connected directly to your router. Scan the QR code as instructed on the bottom of your camera using the Reolink app. It’ll then prompt you to select a method for connecting to your network. Choose the wired ethernet connection. Connect your Ethernet cable to your camera, then connect the other end into your router in an ethernet port. Follow the setup instructions. Once it goes to the screen asking you to connect to your wifi, skip this step. It should finish setup and take you to the home page of your Reolink app where you can now view your camera. Select the camera you just setup and click on the gear icon. Select wifi and choose your network. Yes this camera does support both 2.5 ghz and 5G. When prompted, manually enter your wifi network password and click save. Your camera should now be connected to both the Ethernet cable and WiFi. You can go ahead and disconnect the Ethernet cable and your camera should work fine on your wifi network. It may give a false issue with wifi connectivity initially when you disconnect your Ethernet and unplug your power cord. Just move your camera to wherever you want in your house and plug it back in. Give it some time. It might say it’s disconnected. I just clicked on the gear icon and went to wifi then went back to the main screen. Just click on some menu items or something until it reregisters and connects again. It’s a little iffy at first but so far my cameras have been working and connecting fine. Don’t forget to add in your high endurance micro SD card and format it. From here you can play around with the menu options. Mounting them was easy as it comes with a template. Just make sure your mounting plate faces whatever way you want your power cord to hang down from once the camera is locked into the mounting plate. It comes with a long power cord which provides more than enough length to connect how I need it to. The camera quality is pretty good, not great but you do have the option to choose between low, mid and high camera quality while viewing. There is some lag (few milliseconds) when watching the video from my phone and viewing actions live. Some of this can be fixed by adjusting settings within the app (lowering quality, etc). But mostly it’ll be come down to software, your internet connection, location, etc. not a whole lot you can do about that. I don’t like the pan tilt options as much because you can’t fine tune the movement and there’s lag time between when you press the button to rotate and when the camera actually moves. It’s moves a bit too much for my taste. I do not hear any sound when moving the cameras in our home however and that’s with the general noises (refrigerator, fans, etc going in). Sound quality is decent when using the two way audio but there’s definitely better quality out there for cameras in this price range. I like that you can schedule when you’d like to receive alerts for movement, especially since it’s an indoor camera, however I wish this function was more user friendly and we could select the time and dates like you would in a calendar app rather than sliding your finger along a vertical time map. Definitely make sure that they do not directly face up against a wall when viewing because that can alter the appearance when viewing on the phone. I’m still testing them out but I’ll try to remember to update if I notice anything else of importance.

Versatile, inexpensive, and no subscription required!
This is the fifth Reolink camera I have purchased, and I recommend them highly. They are easy to set up, and the Reolink app is very user friendly. The cameras use micro SD disks to store video events, so no subscription is needed for storage in "the cloud". They are very versatile - the camera can be rotated ~200° and has good range up and down as well. Movement is controlled through the app. The picture quality is excellent. They record sound as well as video and you can transmit your voice through the app as well. I have never had a problem with any of the five and use them when we are out of town so we can see our "fur babies" and make sure the pet sitters are doing their job right!

Way better than Wyze
We bought two of these to replace two Wyze (v2) cams facing out windows that were having problems with recording error free and skip (where the subject in the video teleports through the recording) free clips. The Wyze cams are also limited to only 12 second clips unless you pay a monthly fee, even if you are using onboard memory. One of the cameras sits next to the router and the other sits on the opposite side of the house, and we quickly found the main advantage of these new cameras is their dual band capability. Initially we were having connection issues with the standard 2.4 band but once we switched to the 5 we had perfect functionality. Its so nice to have this option I wouldn't recommend getting any camera that doesn't have it. The app used to interact with the cameras has been mostly flawless, and we have been pleasantly surprised with all the features that can be enabled without being nickel and dimed paying a monthly fee not to mention our clips record for the entire period that motion is detected rather than just for 12 seconds. The one issue we've had is sometimes the camera that is furthest away loses the ability to playback from the onboard card (remember to buy one for each camera), but the live feed still works and unplugging the camera and plugging it back in fixes the issue. These cameras do have the ability to be hard wired in a worst case scenario where wireless just won't work, so bonus points there. Another nice thing to have is the ability to pan the camera around, like if for some reason it gets bumped out of place by a pet we can correct it remotely, or if we want to check in on the pets we can pan the camera around to look inside the house and attempt to locate them in the room. These cameras are really good about only recording when something is actually happening, unlike our Wyze cameras that would constantly make recordings of moving bushes, shadows, etc. which sometimes caused them to missing things that would actually need to be recorded due to the delay between recordings, the new cameras have no such delay. The night vision is excellent on these cameras, that is to say we keep the onboard night vision off and use ambient external light instead since these cameras sit next to windows. The main reason I point this out is because the Wyze cameras would just be a black screen without its night vision turned on, but these cameras clearly pick up everything with just a small amount of ambient light (street lights, or a dim porch light is enough). I would definitely recommend these cameras to friends and family, which I can't say the same about Wyze cameras which have really been disappointing as time goes on and they require a monthly subscription.

NOT SECURE & NOT FUNCTIONAL
NOT SECURE & NOT FUNCTIONAL Ive owned these cameras for 3 years and at first I thought they were great until they weren't. The first year I had them, I lived in a place and the setup was fairly straightforward. If you want any videos to save it said you needed a cloud account or micro, s, d, so I bought the micro. Installed it and it didn't work. Then I moved , and I could not set them up with my new network. I called customer service and talked to someone who helped me fix it. It is extremely time consuming and not easy. I then moved again. This time, I called customer service again because I followed all the prompts.I did everything right and I remembered their advice from the last time. To no avail. Customer service was unavailable every time I called. Last part , which is , maybe the worst part , is that if anyone has the reolink app. And comes into your home and logs on to your network then they could see your cameras. So i'm giving the app a terrible review also... My work uses the same cameras , and it's a highly confidential n d a environment. My App somehow synchronized with their cameras. I could see all their cameras in my app. They had a pro security team installed their Reolink and as soon as they found this out , they immediately had to uninstall them and switch them out. Due to the nature of the security brief and all the trouble i've had trying to set them up when I move... Do not buy them! I'm going to get rid of mine and I have now purchased RING cameras four door and throughout the home. They are amazing and took minutes to set up, reolink has taken hours of my life.

Easy set up, tons of great features and good quality for price
I'm really happy with this item vs the price point. My husband can have a joined account, you can move the camera to get different views of your room, there is audio available so I can talk through it as well as hear what is happening, the lag is very minimal for real time, and it was very easy set up. All in all it took me less than 10 minutes to put together and figure out how to use the device. Where it is currently has very low wifi strength, which is an issue in that section of our house for all of our devices, but I don't notice it causing any major setbacks. The indoor camera was an experiment to see if I could justify buying more from this company and so far I am pleased and am now considering the outdoor variation. I haven't experienced their customer support staffing yet but if it is needed I will absolutely come back to add to the review with how things are handled.

Amazing for pets!
I’ve had these for about a week now and upgraded from a simple blink camera. I use one in each of my dogs kennels due to living in an apartment. And these are phenomenal great picture quality, you can hear your voice clearly, schedule recording times, get notifications when they bark or have a lot of movement which is critical for me, love that you can move them just so many features! My 1 annoyance with this camera is it’s not supported with any subscription which I thought it was for some reason so you have to get a high endurance micro sd card. Which are pretty expensive depending on how much storage and footage you want saved. But other than that they are amazing. Easy to use and instal app was pretty easy to navigate.
