Ultimately, I like how easy it is to open and close. I wish it had a better mechanism to ensure it stays open when you need it to be open. Something more premium and permanent than a red clip on piece. Something like a toggle lock... I think this might just be the ring use case, but I hate how difficult most valves are to open and close. This is easy to open and close.

I know this is not the correct way to fix this bc it’s just a band aid but these work great for pool sand filters that leak out of the backwash pipe. The slim profile allows for applications that require a tight fit also. Just inform the customer to always open the Valtera Gate Valve before they backwash or vacuum to waste. Do Not use on commercial pools bc it’s against state code.

These work great for sump bypass valves. They are the cheapest I have found them and work great with the lockout bar to keep from closing with the shaking of your sump pump. They did however come covered in a slick film which was a pain to remove before gluing them in place which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Bought this to control water flow to and from my pool heater so it can be worked on without shutting down the pool. Works as it should at a great price.

Worked great for the clean out on my 55 gallon drum filter for my fish.

Utilizo na casa de máquinas da piscina, muito mais eficiente e durável que as válvulas de esfera produzidas no Brasil. Além de serem mais fáceis de manobrar, as válvulas de esfera duram aqui no máximo 2 a 3 anos pela ação do cloro, esta última que comprei foi para substituir uma que já estava instalada a mais de 6 anos. Existe também um modelo com para fusos, onde é possível trocar as vedações internas, mas está difícil de encontrar, assim como as vedações. A Amazon poderia investir um pouco nisto.
