I used this with my grandson, but I wasn't expecting this to be so neat. He loves it. It's a great outfit that includes so much for such a low price. And the case is the perfect touch to hold and carry everything.

Great first fishing rod for my kids! Everything fits into the easy to carry case. The colors are bright and they loved picking out their favorite color for their fishing rod.

The media could not be loaded. The Plussino Kids Fishing Pole combo is a great, practical fishing solution for a reasonable price. You get everything you need in one small easy to carry package. Perfect for a first time out fishing or a veteran who wants something simple to have on hand, this Plussino combo has what you need.All that said, I do have a few nitpicky issues with it. For those not familiar with fishing or those looking to start out, there really aren't any instructions for how to setup or use any of the lures/swivels/weights contained inside. I personally would also liked to have seen some basic fish hooks for those of us that like to just keep it simple with a nightcrawler on a hook and a bobber.Like I said in the video, even if this isn't for your little one, it's not a bad fishing solution to just keep in the truck for when the opportunity strikes! I'll be updating this review in the spring when I get a chance to head out into the field and really put it through its paces. I'm looking forward to what Plussino has in store for the future and I'm curious to try out that Spinning Reel!

I got this for my grandson for his birthday. He loved it and had fun learning to cast and catching a fish. It is of good quality and there were no problems using it out on the lake for our fishing day. The size was very good for a 7 year old.

I love how everything is in one bag and is very light weight and easy to carry, especially for my little one. It came with a decent amount of bait. This is definitely very kid friendly, and perfect for a beginner fisherman. The rod and reel fit perfectly and was very easy to assemble, just make sure you screw it tightly so the reel isn’t loose. It was very easy to dismantle too. The bag has two nets and you can place your bait in one side and the other the reel. The rod is secured by two Velcro straps and it works fine. The hooks are very sharp, so I wouldn’t recommend a child attaching this, however, with the help of an adult, should be ok. Otherwise, I like the blue, handle is sturdy and line runs smoothly. I recommend this product.

My review of the Plussino Kid’s fishing pole kit.I got this item for my 6 year old who has been wanting to go fishing for a while now.this kit has it all. There is a small tackle box that comes with a few lures to use. It is very organized and separated by compartments with in the box.The time it took me to get it all set up was about 4 minutes.The fishing pole extends out nicely and never folds in on its own unless you put it back in. It is a spin cast reel which made it a breeze for my 6 year old to use. After use, it is easy to put back in its own bag. It has two pockets with in the bag to place the small tackle box and the reel that comes apart with minimal effort. It also has two straps to hold the pole in place when in the bag.My son loves his fishing pole and the small bag with the handles makes it easy for him to carry.Definitely a fan of this product and recommend to anyone looking to purchase a fishing set up for a young angler.

The reel quit working after the first use. It just quit reeling in the line. I took the cover of the reel and got it working again, just to have it fail again. Even after screwing the cover back on, it just falls off when trying to reel in the line.

This was a great first kids fishing rod and reel! It comes with a well-made travel case and the compartments inside not only keep the rod in place but they can hold additional tackle. The rod itself is very sturdy for a telescopic rod. I like the detail taken to put a nice protective covering over the end of the rod for storage. The reel was a good quality. It didn’t come with a large amount of line on it, but it was perfect for pond fishing. The drag is good and it held up when put to the test. I was able to bring in some heftier two-pound fish with no problems. The tackle that came with it was good. It even had bobber stops and beads. There was a lot of detail put into this kit. The only con to this rod was that the bobber took on water, but I didn’t even use the bobber much. Other than that I was pretty darn happy! Thank you so much for making such an awesome product!
