Universal so it fits...
As stated it is a universal fit case so there will be some fitting issues between different model units. The inside dimensions are 7" x 2.75" x 1.5". Overall the case seems well built for the price and should wear well with light to moderate use. It is padded on the inside. I bought the case for GPSMAP 78SC; it fits well within the case with room to spare above or below the unit. You could easily use the extra space to store spare batteries or other small devices. The only thing that raised an eyebrow is the zipper. It does not zip down equally on both sides of the case. Where this might be come an issue is if you wear the case on your left. because the zipper does not zip down as for on that side of the case, you may struggle a bit with insertion/removal; especially in a rush.

GPS Map65 usage
Works perfect for Garmin GPSMAP65. Some complaints about the zipper. Mine has no problems with the zipper. I can pull it out by grabbing the antenna. Works perfect!

A Case for Demanding Trails
I just received my case and excited to get this one into the field! After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned about some of the selections out there. I am glad I ordered this one. Pros: 1) ZIPPER not velcro!!! Some folks prefer velcro lids for easy access. Once, so did I. After bushwacking down an extremely hard trail, pushing through head high grass, small trees and shrubs, falling down hidden dropoffs and ankle snappers more times than I would like to admit, I discovered that both my GPSr and my video camera were still some where up the mountain. Both WERE in velcro "secured" lidded cases. Fortunately, the video camera is a white and orange Flip Vidoe camera and was found after some energetic back tracking. The black and gray GPSr is still somewhere upslope. 2) Size. Large enough to fit a Gramin 60 series GPSr and spare batteries (Now lost) and even more space for a DeLorme PN 60 (loved the Garmin but I've decided to experiment) 3) Tough fabric well constructed. 4) Permanently sewn belt loop. Clips can allow cases to get nudged or pulled off a belt in heavy under growth. I tend to hike trails that are more remote and are generally less used and overgrown. Straps with buckles can loosen or buckles fail. I speak from experience about both these features. Clips, straps, and buckles are great for open trails, but when it comes to brush bustin' - give me a premanent belt loop! Con: 1) The zipper pull looks a little flimsy Quibbles: 1) I wish the belt loop was larger so I could slip it up onto the hip pads on my pack belts. 2) I wish the zipper and zipper pull were more robust. 3) I would have liked more padding, but its adequate and my GPSr units are chosen because they're water proof and impact resistant. They take a greater beating once they're out of the case 4) The Garmin logo on the front doesn't look like the one in the picture. Big woop. I've always been a function over form kind of guy, so for me this is actually a non-issue.

Great case for gpsmap garmin units!
Love this case for my garmin gpsmaps 64st. Fits perfectly. Still have room for extra memory card and cord. Great quality and padding all over inside. I use this case for travel only but does have belt loop if you wanted to use while carrying and using the unit. Overall very pleased with my purchase! ๐๐

Fits 66i well
Fits Garmin 66i very well but isn't heavy duty. Didn't hold up to daily use on extended multi month backpacking trip
