2 of the "rests" broke off while I was gone and 3 long guns hit the floor. No serious damage other than scope problems. The wood used was cut so that the grain runs vertically and that is where the rest broke was along the grain. none of the guns would be considered heavy. Contacted manufacturer via email and was ignored. Don't put anything heavier than a fishing rod on the rack.

MADE IN CHINA!!
The 'Rush Creek Story' doesn't include the fact that it is made in China! Nor does it include the information that it's made with toxic chemicals that can cause cancer and birth defects. 'Handcrafted' probably means by the tiny little hands of children in sweatshops. I returned this piece of junk promptly.

Throw away Factory Hardware your guns will be on the floor otherwise.
Easy to assemble. Went on the wall fast, looks fairly decent can't beat the price. Does its job well. Use spring Molly's on drywall or tapcons on concrete do not use Factory provided crap! You should stagger the weapons to keep the weight fairly balanced.

Seems like a good rack for the price.
So far so good. Easy to install with a few mods. Ditch wall screws and go with 2.5 inch deck screws along with a few washers for each and go straight into studs. Wouldn't trust flimsy anchors. Pre drilled holes are 16" apart so find one stud and go from there. My level sat right on top for on the fly adjustment. Just installed today so don't have a durability rating.

Rustic but functional
This is prefinished pine. Suitable for you cabin in the woods. My kit was missing one of the bolts needed to assemble it. I sent the company an email — nothing. Can’t finish putting it together without that 1-1/4” bolt with a 38 thread. American hardware stores do not sell that bolt and the bolt is designed to mate with a “nut” that is always in the frame so I can’t make a substituting. I do not recommend this product.

Good for what it is...
Light weight but it does the job and is exactly what I paid for. NOTE; One side has bigger notches than the other. This is important if you care what directions your guns point when they're up on the wall. Holes for wall mounting are 16" on center.

This thing assembles with 8 screws and has notches to guide the alignment. Four of the 8 screws holes had to be "adjusted" for assembly, out of alignment by 1/16" to 1/4". The wood on on piece was split but not in an area of structure. I made the necessary adjustments and will use it anyway. If you don't have a Dremel and/or lack woodworking skills, I'd avoid this "Made In China" item.
