These are a great snack to have in the car and camper. I have Hangery issues and am on a weight loss journey. Having these great options that need to refrigeration handy helps me make it to the next meal when caught in traffic or when trips take longer than expected. The burst of flavor and the chewiness satisfies. They are not overly salty, either.

My original review of this product was 3 stars with the following comment: Tasted good, texture a little too soft/mushy for my palate. You'll see in the comments, the company felt I had gotten a bad shipment and replaced it. I really didn't know what to expect and was wondering what the company was expecting but apparently it was nothing. After receiving the replacement box, that was that. The new box arrived and I surprised it was actually different. If memory serves, I think the product was slightly different in shape (shorter, larger diameter), the taste was still good AND the texture issue had definitely been fixed! I plan to order again from the company, trying some different flavors.

I do live right next to Vermont.... This meat stick, and really all the flavors are wonderful. We carry these around in our cars and purses for a good quality, healthy snack. This flavor is my sons favorite, but he also likes the original and bar b que as well. I go for the turkey because they are slightly lower in fat than this one. Great product at an excellent price. Buying in bulk is key.

I was looking for an easy to keep on-hand, low-points (WW) snack. These turkey pepperoni sticks do the job at 1 point and not needing to be refrigerated. They aren't terribly spicy and they have a pepperoni aftertaste. Initially, they have a strange taste to me. I can't describe it - but I've never had turkey pepperoni before - so maybe it's just what turkey pepperoni tastes like? I will eat the box, but I'm not sure I'll get this variety again and will look for another flavor next time. I think it's just a matter of taste.

Vermont uncured pepperoni turkey sticks: These are very tasty with a full flavor of tangy, smoked goodness. Not spicy. Not overly greasy. Good consistency- not too tough or chewy. Sticks are nicely, individually packaged in a box that opens for easy grabbing on the go. They are the perfect size for a quick snack.

Got addicted to these working at a health foods store. Sodium isn't as bad as most other jerky. I got this when cracked pepper wasn't available & now I just alternate every order. The taste is pretty good & the price is pretty good & around what you'd pay for a case at a store. Satisfying texture for chewing without being too tough on your jaw/teeth.

I wanted to like these meat sticks, and I was willing to put up with the, uh, different, texture, knowing as I do that the ingredients are a lot higher quality and the taste is pretty good. But unfortunately half of the box went bad within a few months of purchase, well under the best by date, developing spots of what looks like mold, and, in a couple cases, the wrapper ballooning up from the inside. I have been in contact with the company, and was originally told that I'd be refunded for the sticks that were bad, but that communication sort of petered out and I never obtained a refund. I'd also like to see a little more urgency in dealing with a matter like this, seeing as it could conceivably make people sick. But I guess that's what companies are like these days. I will say the first box I got had no such issues, so it's hit or miss it seems. Edit, 2/16/17: The company contacted me through the comment on my review here and replaced my bad meat sticks with a fresh box of a flavor I requested. I'm looking at the bad ones in the previous box as an understandable accident based on the other boxes I've ordered and consumed, which had no problems. I'll continue to do business with this company based on their willingness this time around to fix their mistake, and the fact that I like the product and ingredients. Changed this review from a two-star to a three-star. I think their other products are a bit better in texture than this particular turkey recipe, so I probably won't buy this particular one again, but I like their other varieties.

Idk why these have bad reviews. They are delicious and pretty filling in a pinch without feeling horrible. Taste is maybe a little gamey? Not totally sure what the flavor is but I'm into it. Will definitely be ordering again. I might be a little obsessed, to be real.
