Arrived quickly which is a bonus! This is a great little kit, I got them yesterday (5-15-2020). I spent a better part of the day with my magnification headband on sorting them as 5 dividers in the storage container were not seated when I had received them and were sitting flat on top of the components allowing various values to all mix together. (oh what fun that was). I did not down rate for that - it happens but was not the day I had planned out.. Overall though, it is a nice little assortment of transistors at a decent price. I have not yet had a chance to test any yet, but will be using quite a few soon. Only thing that could have made this better was if the label had E B C (for Emitter, Collector, Base on or to the right of the legs making it much quicker to use. Some I use a lot of I already know such as 2N5551 is E B C - but still I can remember when I did not know offhand! Not a huge issue, I will be labeling those myself with a blue finepoint sharpie. Anyhow, great product, Thanks!

kit fit the bill for those hard to find transistor check out this kit many to choose from if you dont find it here check out this same brand but diffrent transistor numbers i tested one out of package tested to spec work great other leading brand cos not makeing what this kit and others have ----------- keep some diffrent kits on hand its woth the money if your a service tech or just electronic hobbist

I don't have an ESR meter to verify cap accuracy, but I have used a few of them when needed and they have worked for me. I would feel more comfortable recommending them if they were a better brand such as Nichicon.

The transistors arrived in a plastic box partitioned into small compartments for the transistors. The top can be closed and locked. The assortment is perfect for a one off evaluation circuit or what ever the need is. The assortment makes It easier to try different values before having to purchase 100 of a 3906 for example, that do not work quite as expected. I printed 2*4" note of the transistor specs and scotch taped it to the inside cover. I could see the basic value of each transistor immediately. One word of caution when opening the lid CARE MUST BE TAKEN so that the transistors DO NOT FALL OUT and make a mess. This is a fine little assortment and is as advertised. I tested a couple of the transistors and they were OK . The rest probably are too..

Good selection and quality of components.

I needed a few transistors to finish a DIY project and found I did not have any PNP devices. A quick search revealed this excellent deal. It arrived quickly. I spot checked each of the device types provided by testing a couple at random and lo and behold -they all worked. Good hfe numbers on all the ones I tested. So now an opportunity for even more DIY projects. Now these being small, it means that printing on the devices is small, and it means it is hard to read them. But I am not sure the manufacturer had much choice in this regard. Amazon asked me about "Easy to read" and I am responding.

Test them with a transistor tester all work very well. Transistors usually last 1-2 years max. Fixed a few electronic kits with it.

I only needed a couple of the transistors out of the kit but it was more practical to buy this kit then it was to buy a couple. The transistors I used worked out well for my project.
