Doesn't move a lot of air but has very good ventilation
This unit is pretty decent, the construction is good, the top grill is metal and is good at conducting heat away from the laptop, and it has two fans with a blue LED that moves air, but not a lot of it. The plastic base has a lot of air vents and the entire top grill is a mesh so the airflow is good. There isn't any speed adjustment control and it has a weird configuration where there's two USB type A connectors, one of which connects to your computer with a USB A to A cable (these are very uncommon and potentially unsafe) and the other port is a power pass-through. The electronics look good but the PCB traces are thin so I don't know how much current I'd want to draw from the spare USB A connector. The LEDs and fans together use 40mA which isn't bad. To disassemble it you have to pry up the metal mesh tabs around the plastic base and pop the grill off. There's no screws but it isn't difficult to do. I think given the low cost it's OK for lightweight cooling applications. If it used a normal Type C connector instead of requiring an unusual A to A cable that would have been better, and bigger fans with a switch for fan speed control would have been a huge advantage. But at this price point, it's fair.

I didn't realize it'd be so great!
I just got tired of the warm laptop on my lap. This thing is awesome! It's simple! The cord is a USB to USB cord - about 20 inches long. There's no power button - took me a minute. It powers on by plugging one end into the fan board and the other into another USB port, such as your laptop. It powers off by either the laptop end being turned off, or by unplugging one end. Simple. It's pretty thin. I have a laptop sleeve (not a big bag) and it slides right in with my laptop. I brought it on vacation with me, too! It's super lightweight, too! It keeps the laptop cool, and I mean I've used it for 3 straight hours - no heat on my lap! It lights up, but that doesn't even matter to me. This thing is a Godsend for people who often use a laptop. They get warm when in use, they get warm while charging....YOU NEED THIS!

Light weight. Quiet
Works great! Keeps my laptop cool ! No more hot lap! It is quiet. A tiny bit awkward at first but easy to get used to. Well made and very well priced!

Slim and sturdy
I purchased this with height in mind. I have a wfh setup of 3 monitors and the laptop screen. This required the cooling rack to be strong enough to hold and cool my laptop but allow it to be open under the monitors I have set up. This fit the bill perfectly. Keeps my laptop cool and moves the air well, while the slim build is very space saving.

Baffled by the positive reviews
I'm baffled by all the positive reviews on this item, but I've found this to be utterly useless for the purposes of cooling my laptop, which is what it's supposed to do. First things first, the positives. It's thin. It has blue lights. That's about it. Cons: Where to begin? Guess I can start with the structure, to me it felt very flimsy out of the box. It's proven to be stronger than it looks, but I wouldn't trust this then with anything that has any heft to it. I was immediately struck by how the legs fold out (they swing down toward the back of the device. The legs don't lock into place or even have anything to lock down so I've had one leg fold up just from general typing within the first 10 minutes of using it. They're also not adjustable, so you get legs up or legs down. Nothing in between. Neither angle feels particularly comfortable but I suppose I'd get used to it. My biggest problem with this pad though is how it doesn't accomplish anything. I ran my Alienware X14 (known for putting out some heat anyway) for about 5 minutes with a CAD drawing that cranked the CPU temp up to about 90C and the GPU to about 85C. With the same load, I sat the laptop on the cooling pad, and there was literally no change in the temps. I've had it on the pad for 20 minutes now, and finally shut down the blueprint I was looking at. I can breathe faster than the wind the fans generate, and you have one setting. That's it. All the comments about how quiet it is are quite accurate, it's super quiet. Because it's not doing really accomplishing anything. I'd be perfectly fine with loud if it actually accomplished something. Returned within 30 minutes.

noisy after 6 months
was great and serve my purpose with compact footprint compare to other cooling pad. noise level was ok but not quiet. after 6 months of almost continuous use, both fans start making noise a few minutes after turn on - indicating the fluid bearings on both fan failed. now i am considering a diy with better fan that can last longer.
