So far so good. Kit came with just about everything you need and it appears to be accurate guage wire with a nice thick insulation around it. Easy to install with basic knowledge, plenty of length, and wiring was easy to work with, flex, and run. Can't really think of anything bad to say. Will update if I have an issue but appears to be a great product for a reasonable price.

Used to install a single 12” sub in my full size truck. Wires are very durable, and quite pretty. Easy to work with and none of the ends are cheaply made. Will buy again if needed. Haven’t had any issues.

This cable is thick. Not “wow that’s chunky” thick. I mean “is this classified as structural support?” thick. I’m pretty sure if my car ever breaks down, I can tow it using this wire. Running it through the car felt less like an install and more like a CrossFit workout. Bending it requires commitment, leverage, and possibly a motivational speech. Once it’s in place though? Ohhh buddy. This absolute unit of copper feeds my 3500W RMS amp like it’s a light snack. No voltage drop drama, no overheating, no complaints, just pure, clean power flowing like it was born for this job. If you want a wire that laughs in the face of high wattage and makes your amp feel emotionally supported, this is it. Downsides? Your forearms will be sore and your friends will ask why you’re installing an anaconda under your hood.

This Skar Audio 8 Gauge OFC wiring kit is top-notch. The quality of the cables is heavy-duty and flexible, making installation easy and clean. You can tell it’s real OFC — no cheap shortcuts here. My amp runs smoother, cleaner, and I’m getting way better sound output with zero distortion or power drop. Definitely worth every penny if you care about performance. 🔥

This is for the 1/0 kit. The wire is very flexible, comes with a 3/8" ring terminal crimped & heat shrinked to both positive/negative wires. The spare ring terminals are throw away items, so are the rubber boots they give you. I ended up using all of the flex loom, that was nice to have and perfectly sized for the 1/0. The speaker wire and the turn on conductor are also very flexible, though a little thin for my taste. I did use the turn on wire since it really doesn't pull any amperage. I bought some generic ferrule kits off Amazon, wire fit nicely inside the 1/0 ferrule without having to twist it. Twisting actually makes it fatter, counter-intuitive to what you think it does. I've seen older reviews of these kits saying Skar used to provide under-sized wires. The wire in this kit seems similar to other 1/0 remnants I have lying around and I have no complaints about the strand count or jacket thickness. I installed this kit in a 2024 Ram 1500, through the factory boot to behind the rear seat on the passenger side. I used all the wire available. I probably used a foot extra under the hood trying to get the fuse in a decent spot to mount. All of these kits need to come with 21ft. The ground wire was adequate in length, I maybe cut off 7-8" extra. The fuse holder is pretty generic, and identical plastic shell as what comes in other "cheap" wiring kits. This one just happens to have Skar painted on the top. FYI, the terminals inside have a set screw for the fuse on the top, and the conductor set screw on one side. It uses the exact same terminal for both ends so one terminal ends up with a conductor set screw facing to the right and the other facing to the left. That might block access to screw the wire in so plan on that before securing the housing somewhere so you aren't blocking the set screw. I did not use the RCA cable. The jacketing looks a little thin. I needed 4 channels anyway so I re-used some Streetwires RCA I had extra from a previous project. I was mainly needing the main power wire and fuse out of this kit.

I decided to add the "Big 3" wiring kit for my car because why not. Might as well make the most of my alternator. This kit seems to be one of the only kits on Amazon that is truly OFC wiring, so that is interesting. It does come at a fairly high price, but if you think about it, you can reuse it for later cars and it will last a long time. The quality of these wires are superb and do not look like they will have any problems for decades. The only thing I'd say I didn't like about this was the setup process. I had to buy a 0/1 AWG crimping tool and also a larger wire cutter, but I guess that was good in the end if I ever need to use it in the future. Overall, this was a solid buy for what you get and it is definitely some high quality stuff.

Good Works well with Good tune note that speaker wire needs to be thicker for your subs only issue I ran into other than that great starter kit.
