Can you use this for other drinks beside liquor and it works the same?

The only thing this works with is water. The ice cubes work the same as any others and may be used for any drink. Just makes crystal clear ice cubes (and works quite well)

What are the dimensions of the cubes from the 8-cube tray?

I don’t know why there are three different dimensions listed, but a careful measurement of 3 separate cubes on several sides and they all are 1.25 inch near-perfect cubes.

Yes, the 1.375 inches per side of the cube is accurate. It's possible to overfill the silicone molds, but there is a wide ledge inside the mold indicating the max where it should be filled for perfectly clear cubes.

The ice•ology clear ice tray by Dexas produces 8 cubes that are approx. 1.4" cubes. One dimension can become slightly more if the silicone molds are over-filled. Just make sure the water level is even with the top "ledge" of the silicone molds for consistency.
