Wow! Pretty bad. Not a natural lemon flavor, more of a subtle chemical taste. Icing texture and flavor way off. It felt like wax in my mouth. Took one bite, threw the rest away & gave the box away.

I love all things lemon, so after trying the Cakebites Ultimate Party Cakes, and them being so liked by everyone here, I decided to give the lemon a go. Soft and moist, but a weird aftertaste. They are not returnable, so I just trashed the whole order. Will never buy this flavor again.

I’ve been buying Cake Bites for quite some time, and I’ve tried almost all of their varieties. I love the taste of lemon cakes, so I was looking forward to these. There is something unique about the icing on these lemon cakes that causes it to become very soft and melted. The icing stuck to the wrapper and made it difficult to eat. The lemon cakes were not as fresh as the other cakes I’ve tried. To be clear, they were still tasty - just not as good as the others I’ve tried. I continue to order the other cakes Cake Bites sells.

The sweet lemon, and strawberry shortcake taste wonderful. Both flavors were sweet, fun & bright, not incredibly fake, and the cakes were moist and fresh. I’ve also tried the blueberry cobbler (not great) and the crumb cake (my favorite). People need to understand that these are not fluffy like a cake, and not dry like a cookie. They’re more like a small, moist brownie, but with an awesome variety of flavors. They are adorable, and just the right size for a small dessert, or afternoon tea treat. My only complaint, and it’s kind of major. These were both shipped crammed together in a flimsy, thin bag, in the summer, so of course they arrived crushed. It also makes it hard to bring them to a party, or give as a gift to a friend. The boxes are completely unpresentable from the shipping damage. Cake bites inside several of the the individual packs got tossed around so much the icing is smeared in their packets/tray. Please do better. At least use a mailing box, not a bag to protect this dainty, delicious treat.

Absolutely delicious!!! I have a house full of lemon lovers. I'm always looking for lemon cakes, pies or cookies for them. The size is perfect. The taste is a big lemony taste. The cake is very moist and fresh and about half of them are gone already. I'll be ordering them again

Theses don’t have any tartness; they are way too sweet. Also, the icing gets all over the package. Will not buy again.
