The finish is outstanding on these. They are made of real CF. I broke my bosch drill bit drying to drill through it. So good to drill slower if you dont want to break your drill bits .

WOW! These are light and hold well. Time will tell how they hold up, but the initial impression is very positive. Nice matte finish. I bought three sets to replace/change my aluminum rods. These definitely deflect much less than aluminum making installation of other gear easy. They can't/don't have stopper caps, but their grippy matte surface should alleviate the need for those things. Update: Over a year later, and I keep ordering these for all my rigs. They are great. They don't have threads for expansion, but are these prices, who cares. Buy the length you need, or buy long ones and cut them to size(s). The more I shoot, the more I want to lighten my rig. The more I buy and use these rods. Every bit of weight savings helps, and these are no more than aluminum rods. Plus, these don't clank, are quieter than aluminum, and don't ever feel really hot or really cold. Plus, who doesn't love the look of carbon equipment? They are superior to aluminum in every way except having threaded ends. If you don't need threaded ends, you need these.

Super lightweight yet extremely durable. These rods feel premium and keep my rig solid without adding unnecessary weight. Perfect length for my setup.
