Slap it on the wall and give your kid the gift of knowledge!
It is amazing to me how many adults are clueless about the location of states! I had maps on my wall as a kid and, as a result, geography was easy for me. This, I'm sure, is due to just having the information around all of the time. I wanted to do the same for my daughter so I ordered this map and I was pleasantly surprised. The color, detail, and quality are top notch!

It's a good map at a fair price
It's a good map at a fair price. The size works for what I need it for, it's attractive and clear enough. Details could be clearer especially geological non political features.

Better than expected
Got a lot of maps from Staples, etc. but they all of plain paper. Saw only one review for the map and took me a few days before ordering. Since the price was low enough and it being laminated, it was still cheaper than keep buying the paper maps. I was very pleased when it arrived that the quality was really really good. All in all, a very good buy.

Worth the $
Decorating my grandsons (9 & 7) new bedroom. We all wonder where we are at, where we fit in this world. At 9 & 7, they're inquisitive on country, world. This is a great reference to show them the scope of where we are at compared to the world. Right now it is just the United states. I also have a globe showing them all the different countries. I put a frame around it but it doesn't need it. It comes rolled up laminated and I could have just tacked it to the wall. A friend suggested framing so I did. It has cities, lakes which are educational.

Rips too easy
I finally got around to opening this thing, 8 months later (didn’t need prior to now). So I go to roll it the other way in order to flatten it out before putting t up on the wall, and it rips instantly! This lamination is a joke! I have 11 other posters I have put up in our school room, treated this one the same way and it acted as if it’s just regular construction paper. Too bad.
