Has anyone used this knife to cut hay strings/netting on large hay bales for livestock?

It would probably work for that. It's kind of a novelty knife. Half karambit half butterfly knife. It has decent construction. Is a fairly solid piece. If you're looking for one handed, a regular butterfly knife or an automatic would probably work better. But it is fun to flip around once you get the hang of it.

Is it easy to deploy this knif from your pocket to the ready position using one hand? And is the clip reversable

Yes it has a reversible clip but it reverses sides not top/bottom but I don't think "tip up" vs "tip down" really matters with this design... It is possible to deploy one handed but it takes finesse and a little practice. I'll try my best to explain how I do it haha. From my back pocket I have the clip oriented so the unlock button is facing away from the body and on the side of the knife that matches your strong hand (Im right handed so button is on right side). To draw/open the knife hook your pinky finger through the ring and pinch only the button half on the knife between your thumb and your remaining fingers (pinky still hooked through ring for stability) Depress the button (i do it with my middle finger) and gently flick the other handle open while simultaneously releasing the button. Once the other half is mostly in the open position, release your grip and re-grip the knife squeezing it so it locks. Dont try to this fast or forcibly because the locking luck will probably flip around and smack into your finger pretty hard. Still havent figured out how to safely close it one handed lol.
