Duck Brand Standard Pistol Grip Tape Gun Dispenser for 3" Wide,...
I find the tape dispenser to be made of good quality materials and seems heavy-duty to accomodate the 3" wide tape. If a 'starter' roll of tape had been included, I could provide more information, but there was no tape included. I guess I will have to buy a '6 pack' of tape to find out if it will last through 6 rolls of tape.

Good Stuff
We've used a number of different brands of packing tape over the years and find this brand is by far the best. The dispenser allows easy use and the serrated cut off is sharp enough so there is no pulling or tearing. And Amazon's price seems to be competitive, especially if you can add it in to an existing order using Free Super Saver Shipping.I got it only in 2 days,it is amazing!i will buy one more later.

Heavy duty and well built
Heavy duty and well built. The only drawback I can find is the serated cutting blade is fixed and does not move in & out like my 3M tape gun. Would purchase again.

Worst tape gun I've ever used
There is no mechanism to hold the tape in the gun, so it constantly rolls back onto the roll of tape and you've gotta get it started again. This doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but it literally defeats the purpose of a tape gun. I now have to buy another tape gun because this one is garbage.

WOW! Great Tape Gun
This one great tape gun. No spring to pop out. Works really great. I have used tape guns since 1997 and this is the best one ever. Had 2 of the blue ones die in last couple months. But this one!

Sadly, It's So So
This tape gun worked OK, until it didn't. I bought it in March, and, while it did lessen the stress on my wrist from multiple swipes across boxes, it frequently became crooked on the roller, or slipped back off the roller. Not to mention the fact that it's a challenge to get on the roller in the first place: the metal bar that should prevent it from allowing the tape to move side to side is very close to the roller. And then, of course, it doesn't do that, in the first place.Cutting the tape with the serrated edge is a learned skill. You have to hold the gun nearly parallel to the box, and then sharply jerk down to one side or another. Fail to do it exactly right, and the tape sticks to itself and doesn't cut properly. But, you know, better than the rollers that the 1 1/2 inch tape comes on, right?Last week, the guard, that protruding plastic thing you see in the picture, snapped off, close to the serrated cutting edge.Back to the drawing board for a 3" tape gun that is NOT from Duck Brand.
