Pretty good figure for collectors
This is not a review of the kovie or the car (I loved the movie and the veyron.. who wouldnt love a Veyron) bit the figure itself... Autobot drift... this is great for collectors... can stay in a lot of different poses, looks great and is pretty well made, good plastic (again, not cheap and crappy as the one in high octane bumblebee) the swords and knives are great and storage is good... you can store the 4 blades in the car mode so you dont loose them... however... I wouldnt say is for kids who will actually play with it and transform it over and over... im scared that the plastic piece that holds the backpack (I dont mind it having half the car as a backpack it looks great) is gonna break when I rotate it.... the rest is cool... but hard to make the pieces in car mode fit as they should at first try... over all nice figure I loved the movie, this character, and the toy... its definetely a purchase I dont regret so I would recommend it... for collectors... kids will break it eventually

Great quality, unfortunately 😂
I want to give this thing a one star review Bc any parent who has dealt with transformer toys knows it's a constant pain transforming them. That however is just my bias against transformer toys. So, inspite of my desire to someday be free of them, this one has held up well between three brothers and was priced lower than Walmart. I would definitely recommend it if you are a glutton for punishment and want to costa you be transforming. Honestly, I've hoped it would break so I would have an excuse to throw it away to no avail. It just keeps hanging in there.

A great Transformer for the older 'kids'!
Drift is a great character addition to the Transformers fiction and I can't wait to seem him in action in TF4. This Drift is by far my favorite Deluxe class car of this line. The Generations Deluxe line of action figures are meant for the older kids and adult collectors, so keep that in mind when looking to buy it. The Car mode is nice. Being able to store all four swords in both modes will help prevent losing them as quickly. The transformation is fun and the robot mode has a lot of play potential and posing. I highly recommend this figure.

regrets...don't worry about having any.
Drift...how do I begin?...ok, first off. He looks alright, not great, not awesome, just alright in robotic. I get the whole samurai mystique and all but the shoulder armour is too gauty resting atop his wheels. In my opinion they've could've been a little more creative. I understand the simpler transformation direction that Hasbro has taken but come on,does that also refer to simpler overall appearance as well? It looks lazy in design. His head sculpt is to me his only shining characteristic. Yet I've seen the Takara version of this figure and the paint apps on his head and face is absolutely awesome. Anyhow. He has really good articulation, you can pose him in so many cool ways that you can still enjoy playing with this figure for a long time. His swords are nicely detailed too,All four of them. Can they each can be stored in both vehicle and robotic. Now his car mode is really superb, Hasbro spared no expense when it came to the paint apps on the Buggatti. I really love that metallic powder blue color it makes the rest of him stand out. The car is fabulous, nicely detail as well and the mold does it justice here. If your a Hugh fan or collector, get this figure, he looks great on your dresser. He's to me" kid friendly" so go and buy one for your young, you won't regret it.

This is awesome figure not what I has hoped for
This is awesome figure not what I has hoped for,it was actually better he is a great action figure to add to the Transformers Age Of Extinction line but just wish Hasbro wouldn't have made him too short he doesn't quit fit in with my previous Transformers movie series action figures but he's still awesome especially if you get his Reprolabels.

At retail price, he drifts by the competition
Awesome figure! Defiantly the best deluxe figure we have gotten from the AOE generations line. But is not worth the 25 to 30 dollars people are asking for. I was lucky and got it at retail price. I suggest to be patent and wait for amazon to get them in. Well worth the wait!

Fell apart before we had it out of the box.
We bought this for our 5 year old son who LOVES all things transformers. We didn't have it completely out of the box before it was falling apart! And for no good reason. The hands, the head, the hood of the car. And in true birthday fashion, he had the box torn up so returning isn't an option for us unfortunately.

Decent robot form, mediocre car form
I've been collecting Transformers toys off and on since the 1980s. I'm currently at a bit of a lull in my collection, owning only three. This, which I received from Amazon Vine, is one of them. It must be said that I'm not familiar with Drift as a character, but I do like his vaguely samurai robot form. The roof, hood and trunk components hanging off his back do drag down the design somewhat, but otherwise he's quite well put together, and very articulated and poseable. However...the car form. It works ok, sort of, mostly. The bottom half of the car is fine. The upper, however, the roof, trunk and hood, just don't fit together well at all. They are extremely loose, and that limits the amount of support the rest of the vehicle has. Really, this is something of a major disappointment given how good the robot form is designed. In the end, I'd probably give the robot form about 5 five stars and 2 for the vehicle form. Your mileage may vary.
