The buttons and button membranous feel really nice. They’re a bit stiff, but I can tell they’ll break in really well! This shell kit is really a great option for upgrading your personal GameBoy Pocket. I wouldn’t suggest buying this to upgrade a GameBoy you plan to resell. My biggest gripes with this kit is that the shell, although it feels good, didn’t quite line up PERFECTLY (not a big problem once you get the screws in, just a nitpick). The screen fits slightly off center which is kind of distracting, but you can still see the whole screen. The screws feel cheap and the holes don’t match up with the sizes of the original GBP screws, so you’re kind of forced into using them. They also spin endlessly and never quite tighten snug enough. I would also HIGHLY recommend either using the original GBP lens, or upgrade to a nice glass lens because the one that come with the kit is pretty cheap. Overall, I can’t complain too much about this kit. The look and feel is really great. The fact that it comes with the buttons, the membranes, a lens, the sticker, AND the tools makes this and exceptionally good deal. You could always upgrade the screen to an ISP and that would fix the centering issue! I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to give new life to a GameBoy that needs some love.

I love it!
I was nervous from all the mixed reviews but this case is awesome! And my gameboy works perfectly and feels so new! I am so excited that I was able to do this and now it makes me feel like a 90s kid again!!! Thank you so much!
