Whether your a christian, seeking a higher purpose, or searching, this book is a great read. It's engaging, and easy to read, if you regard a good book as a great meal, savor every bite. I have been a christian for 15 years, I was introduced to Dr. Evans when I first started my christian walk via his radio broadcast on ksbj Houston, Texas; for those of us who know christ the beginning stages of your walk can be like christmas everyday, God speaks, you listen and obey with no reservations, your faith literally moves mountains, the beginning of a marriage in a long honeymoon stage, but as we continue to walk a long the honeymoon comes to and end, things become mundane and too familiar, a little less communication, prayer becomes a chore, and suddenly we are questioning God's every move.This book came @ a great time for me, Abraham's story of a promise coming to pass @ a late age spoke volumes, even though I have read this story many times, listen to numerous sermons on this promise at specific times in my journey, the lord lead me to this book for another confirmation. The chapter on wanting the "details" I know was written for me. As I get older in the lord I seem to want more "details" I am Mary, Jesus tells me to move the stone and I'm asking why? Parts of this book I had to stop and meditate to take it all in. The illustration of the experienced fisherman as Jesus is sleeping in the boat blew my mind! Jesus purposely brought them to familiar surroundings, they were experienced men of the ocean, they thought they were in control, until the storm. I have heard that story many of times, Dr. Evans gave me a different perspective, and it spoke loud and clear to the present situation I am currently in.Thank you for your ministry, and thank you for allowing the holy spirit to use you to speak to me. Now I am on to read "God is up to something Great" I still listen to that sermon to this very day!

OMG !!!!! Awesome book, awesome writer Tony Evan. I have been stuck between a rock and a hard place for a while so I decided 2 by the bk that described my situation. It spoke directly 2 me, my heart and spirit. After reading this bk I can say " please buy this book and it would change your view" of your problem at hand. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT, GOD INSPIRING CHRISTIAN BOOK !!!! May GOD Bless You TONY EVANS..... And All the ppl who would read this book !!!

There's nothing new under the sun. This book does not draw out new revelation. What it does do is draw out the deep things of God that have been placed in our hearts from eternity. We need to be reminded of some fundamentals of faith from time to time and Dr. Evans does just that. I feel I'm at the point in my "rock and a hard place" where He's asking me to roll the stone away. I've already heard God and my resurrection is coming!

This book changed my view of a of a no win situation. The examples of the Bible of situations that looked impossible until you see the outcome encouraged me to review my situation. I need to pray more about my problem because I may be missing what God is wanting me to do. Just because it seems like I am giving up so much does not make it wrong. I just want to be in the God's will.

A fabulous read...this book is for a Christian who going through a serious TEST! Explains, and gives you hope.. God will be your victory!

This is a read for anyone wishing to open their kingdom eyes a little further and explore the resurrection power behind faith.

Tony Evans nails it again!! I've highlighted something on every page. Now I'm going back to read again. If you're stuck in a situation with no Godly way out this author gives you a new perspective. VERY HELPFUL!!! "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
