I was overly thrilled to find the Organic natural figs on Amazon. I have always purchased in my local stores. Past several years the product is not carried anymore. the size, moisture level surpasses my expectations. As far as snack quality and health benefits not quite sure. I am full blooded Italian heritage. I will use for fig filled cookies. Sugar contents is healthy instead of sugary snacks/cookies.

These figs were truly great! They are my favorite dried fruit and I have eaten many different types so I can compare. Totally recommended, and great offer price for a kilo!

Most figs have good flavor with light color thick skins but the occasional dark color fig leaves a sour flavor that should not have been present in the package.

Roughly 50% of the Yupik Organic Figs were lighter in color and very good to eat. About 25% were darker in color and their taste varied from being acceptable to tasting sour like vinegar or some other unpleasing flavor. I tossed about half of these in the trash since I found them inedible. The remaining 25% were very dark in color and mostly nasty to taste. Among these were some that tasted spoiled or perhaps like eating dirt. I finally stopped experimenting and just threw out the very dark ones as most of them made me gag. I have no doubt the suppliers are aware of this variation in their product. I am willing to pay more for these IF they would remove the very dark ones. Overall, I suppose I threw out at least 35% of these which made their overall price quite a bit higher than I paid. I am mostly disappointed but I don't see anyone on Amazon providing a guarantee for higher quality figs. I doubt that you can get a better selection of dried figs on Amazon, I have looked extensively. I hope this helps in your decision making process.

Oh my freaking goodness!! These figs are soooo delicious! Great product!

I looked at the picture shown of these figs and they looked delicious. It looked like they had a nice soft center. Yep- my mouth was watering. I wasted $20 on a big bag of dried out things that looked like dried up human skin. Absolutely disgusting. I TRIED to chew one, I am sorry to say this, but I gagged and had to spit it out. I hope other people's experiences are better than mine.
