Fresh Wave Vacuum Beads for Vacuum, Carpet Deodorizer, 5.25 oz, 10-14 Uses

I love these vacuum beads! They work well at reducing the odors from your vacuum. I think we all know how that goes. Where even after cleaning them out and whatnot, sometimes they just have a smell that refuses to go away. The bead format I find works really well too. It helps to actually distribute the scent around the vacuum. That said, the scent is just a sort of a fresh, clean, citrusy type. It's not overpowered at all and because it's beads, you can adjust as you need. You can alwyas start with a little and add more later if you prefer. These are also safer for your machine. An old trick you could do was to suck up a small cotton ball with a little essential oil on it. The problem is, essential oils can be messy, eat plastic and degrade them by themselves, and cause dirty to stick inside too. These beads help prevent damage to your machine without any worry of stickiness or clogging too. These beads will also last a long time. I actually use them for long term storage and use. I have several vacuum, each for different usages, and sometimes they sit for a bit when I'm busy. A small cap of these inside the bag or tank keep them fresh and smelling good in-between uses. These are also essential for robot vacuums! I don't change my bag on my robot for a couple months and they always start to stick. Once a month I put in a small cap of beads and it keeps it from smelling terrible! So why one star off? My only complaint is I wish they were a little cheaper, OR the bottle was just a bit bigger for the same price. If you need to vacuum frequently, you may go through them a bit faster, especially with a bagless machine. Otherwise they are great!

These work well to provide a nice smell that emits from the vacuum cleaner. It doesn’t get rid of odors but does a decent job of at least masking them. You just have to be careful when emptying your vacuum, if you have little ones the small fragrance beads can pose a hazard. The scent does last a good while but if you empty your vacuum after every use, you’ll likely go through these very quickly. I only add about a teaspoon or two to my vacuum once a month or so. I do wish they had additional scents though.

I accidentally vacuumed up pet vomit. The smell permeated the canister and the hose in an expensive and fairly new vacuum. I disassembled and soaked the parts for days in disinfectants. Nothing even slightly took the smell away. I was ready to get rid of the vacuum. I saw this product and based on some of the reviews decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. The product completely eliminated the horrible smell. The smell gradually disappeared over several weeks. The beads are small and leave behind a soft fresh scent that is not too strong. I have multiple pets and no longer worry about pet smells in my vacuum. I plan to continue to purchase this product and use it to have a fresh smelling house and vacuum.

This product has a nice fragrance. I changed my vacuum cleaner bag and placed these beads inside but then didn't vacuum for about a week. By the time I did vacuum, I did not notice any fresh fragrance release from the beads. I keep my vacuum bag fairly clean because I don't like to smell dog hair or the yucky odor from vacuum particles that sit too long, but I honestly have not noticed much difference since I started using the fresh wave beads. When I place fresh beads into a new bag and immediately vacuum I can then smell a fresh fragrance that lingers in the room for a few minutes after vacuuming. When I vacuum a few days later for a second time, I don't notice the fragrance. I believe it would be less expensive to simply use a few cotton balls with some drops of essential oil in the vacuum cleaner bag when I change them, But this is a nice item I would consider adding to a gift basket for a friend. (I would also like to add That my experience is more positive with the fresh wave room freshener gels. They actually work nicely in my Laundry room and bathrooms.)

Love the smell while vacuuming. It doesn’t last in the air or anything and I haven’t smelled my carpet afterwards. I have a Dyson stick vac so the beads go into canister. Once you empty dirt from canister, beads empty as well so basically they are a one time use, unless you don’t have to empty canister every time. I quickly learned to just put a few beads in the canister or bottle will get used up quickly. Overall I’d rather have them in there than not so I’ll buy again as long as price doesn’t go up too high.

Light scented does not linger. Nicely priced. Nice size bottle, and easy to apply.

Eliminates the odor in the vacuum. The scent is better than frito feet but wouldn’t recommend vacuuming right before a guest.

You know how you get a stale musty smell in the garage when you use the central vac? We use these crystals in our central vac, our upright and two hand held. They are very effective and leave a fresh odor. It's amazing how a small capfull works for weeks. :)

Amazing and sure makes room smell fresh!

Definitely helped to eliminate the musty smell from my vacuum, just wished it lasted a little longer. The vacuum bag gets to about halfway full before these beads lose their effectiveness.

The product arrived on time and works as advertised it has a pleasant pine smell and works great. I would buy this again.

Really got rid of the doggy smell in my vacuum. Leaves the house smelling fresh without overly strong chemical scent. Almost smells like aromatherapy! Haha. Will buy more!
